Good friendly gym, apart from the 1guy that grunts loud like he's playing tennis, I would understand if he was lifting heavy weights.Puts a lot of people off there workout.

Has always had an unfriendly atmosphere (particularly from the staff) but is progressively getting worse. Entire top floor, including all the cardio machines, is unusable because of the smell of raw sewage, which has been unresolved for weeks? Water fountain is consistently filthy, with actual green mould growing on the taps (which been the case for weeks). Paper towels/sanitizer spray almost never stocked. Music is often house music which is blasted at aggressive volume. Male staff walk inand out of the female changing rooms. Air con rarely used making it a sweat box for everyone. Please get it together, Pure Gym!

My only request would be to have the music more upbeat and louder. Training with love songs is a downer. I understand that people have their own headphones but, the music should be played in each section of the gym and not down the back where it can hardly be heard. Thanks

Lots of clean modern equipment. Nice and cool. Went before work midweek - plenty of space, no problem getting to any machine I needed.

Over populated and not much of room to do your workout without bumping into other person. Bathrooms not very well kept. But it was expected for a 24/7 gym and cheap price.

Gym has been refurbished and they have made some huge mistakes in layout. Have reduced the space for free weight bench exercises, reduced space around squat racks and fixed weights machines have been pushed as close together as possible. All this the make extra space for a rack that only 4 can work at.. a lot of poor layout choices. Good gym turned bad.

ATTENTION FEMALES - male gym workers come into the female changing rooms while your getting undressed!! I contacted PureGym about this a few weeks back when it happened for the first time. Apparently it?s okay for them to do this as long as they shout staff check before they enter. It has now happened again even tho I shouted I am getting changed do not come in the male worker still entered the changing room I started shouting at the top of my lungs do not come in (he was already in and about to walk round the corner where the showers are) and he shouted sorry and ran out. I find this totally unacceptable the last thing you want when your getting showered is a man walking about the changing rooms - even tho I have complained nothing has been done. There was also a female PT on the floor who could have entered for a staff check rather than a man. Women you?ve been warned! In reply to the owner I actually already emailed Adam Copes when it happened the first time. Adam thinks it?s totally acceptable for men to enter the womens changing rooms as long as they shout in to let you know they are coming in. The second time it happened I shouted that I was getting changed and not to come in and he came in anyway - I think my review is therefore fair and should serve as a warning to other women who use this space to shower and change. It is important to have safe spaces for women to get changed, you don?t want to have to worry about male gym workers entering whenever they feel like it. Shouting your getting changed and don?t come in doesn?t seem to deter them. I also notice there is no signage in the changing rooms to warn women male workers may enter for staff checks - even when women workers are available and on the gym floor.
