When we found this store it made us chuckle a little. Yes, we know that the currency is the pound but sometimes a little outside proofreading doesn't hurt. For our American counterparts this store is similar to either Dollar Tree or Dollar General. The store is very well organized with just about everything you might need. They even have a little bit of elbow grease.

In Belfast, UK, Poundland is the larger chain for a discount store. It offers many items priced as low as 1 pound. While the Lego-like set was just 6 pounds, most other items were priced at 1 pound. The service was both professional and efficient, providing excellent value at this store.

What can I say? As an American visiting the store, it was interesting to see the difference in Poundland vs our "dollar stores." There was a huge variety of items from clothes to food, to household items. The store was fairly busy and seemed to be organized/tidy for the most part. Staff seemed focused on doing their jobs - we did not need any assistance, so cannot really comment much. Overall, can't really complain - makes for a good, quick stop for random, small needs you might have.

It looks depressing it's gloomy aisles are empty half of the store isn't even a Poundland it's overall terrible I was hyped up for this place for MONTHS and then this is it? I don't think it's the franchisees fault for the store but Poundland themselves Ever since they were bought out by that Pep&Co company and going over the pound price point they say on some products are still a "pound" but when you scan at the till it says £1.25 overall I would just go to the one on ann Street it's just better than other one if your going here make sure to go on a restock day because the aisles are empty the next day

It's now on the opposite side. It's bigger, cleaner, more spacious, stock is well displayed and organised. Looks lovely, easy to shop.

Almost all household items and groceries with most economic cost range. More focus on quality and product range is required.

It's Poundland. And yet it's more in order than Primark, sure I'll not babble on, but this wee one is decent, although definitely more 2/3/4 quid items popping which is not what we go for.Plenty of tills and always wee interesting bits to be found.Knocking a few stars off because more items than you would like aren't priced up, and you can't assume everything is a pound any more!
