Terrible experience. I waited 20 minutes in line to receive an international cash exchange, just to be told to fill out a form (that took one minute to fill) and wait again in the 20 minute line. When it came to my turn again, the girl was obviously not trained properly or didn?t know what she was doing. She had obviously put my information into the system wrong and the more experienced employee had blamed me and said that the money must have been sent to the wrong country instead of double checking their system. I verified on my end that the money was sent to the UK and I came back and waited AGAIN for 20 minutes in the queue. I told them that the money had in fact been sent to the UK and when the more experienced employee put the information in, it worked. When I had asked what went wrong the first time, the employee blamed me once again and said it was because I had given the wrong ID when I gave the same ID as the previous time. Terrible and slow service, was clearly not taken seriously because of my skin color and accused of not knowing what country I?m in. Will not be returning to this branch.

I post here regularly, several thousand items a year. The staff are helpful and friendly, I sometimes make myself a coffee from the machine while I wait for all my stuff to be scanned in. Genuinely baffled at all the negative reviews, many of which I suspect are the result of customer error rather than legitimate bad service.

Often closed when it's meant to be open. Most staff are slow and unpleasant. Services that take too long or that they don't know how to do are either "not offered here" or a nonsense excuse is given why they can't be done. Such as "we don't have any cheque deposit envelopes for your bank left" without checking, or "you need a special Post Office electricity top up card" when one doesn't exist.Strongly advise going to Bridge Street Post Office in the city centre, or the Post Office counter (open late 7 days) in Spar Malone Road instead. Both give a much superior service.

I don't normally post reviews but I feel as though I ought to post this to alert future customers. Staff here are lovely and haven't had a problem here until lately. I tried to post a flat parcel with a birthday present for my grandmother who lives in the Republic of Ireland. A member of staff tried to charge me extra by claiming that tracking was mandatory. I knew this wasn't true because the post office website says otherwise (for customs declaration etc) and I have posted internationally a couple of times before. I went to the post office in the city centre later in the week and was able to pay for standard postage with no fuss. Before you go in here, make sure that you read the terms and conditions first so that you understand your rights and limitations. If you can't get anywhere with them then go to the city centre post office.

Extremely rude staff. "Closed" the postal office half way through posting something. Kept telling me I had to put things in smaller boxes. Was refusing to send my post even though I was paying for it. If it was possible to give them a 0 out of 5 I would. Never in my life will I ever go back to this s**t hole of a post office. I would have gotten better customer service from a prison cell.

Staff very rude, very unthankful from the £10000â??s they get from the kids in MCB in the mace section! Most staff ok but a couple of mouldy spuds in the bag!
