Advice given at counter is different to advice stated on post office website, lady refused to even look at the website to see for herself. Just a case of 'lady at the counter says no'. She just couldn't be bothered as I was clearly interrupting the conversation she was having with her colleague before I arrived.

Took my fiancee + 4 out for her birthday...we went axe throwing (£150), dinner in the Chinese buffet (£120) and went to the pub quiz in Gallagher's after. All in all we were there from 5:30 until after 11. Spent a fortune, probably around £300 in the place, and was a decent night, so imagine my shock when I get a parking fine for £100 for staying in the car park for more than 4 hours! Yes can't believe it, go somewhere and spend a load of money and then they try and hit you with a parking fine. There isn't even any barriers to suggest you need a ticket and I've been going to that Gallaghers for over 2 years. Guess I just never spent more than 4 hours in the car park. That seems like such a dirty trick to extrapolate extra money out of their customers. Legal note* I wasn't actually driving the car at the time and therefore not liable for the parking charge. If they want me to identify the driver, will be £100 admin fee.
