My son and his friends called in for some food when they went to pay they asked could they split the bill for the fella to turn round and say no my son only had his card and his 2 friend had cash it wouldn't have been hard to split the bill for.all they had to eat ?

Staff need trained to deal with walk ins immediately not continue clearing tables, pretending to ignore us while looking over to see if we are still there, communication is key. No sign on door with the opening hours lead to us standing for around 5 minutes until someone eventually came up to us and muttered that they were closed. ? it takes seconds to meet and greet whether welcoming a customer into restaurant or going i?m really sorry guys but our kitchen just closed. Staff response to us standing there like twits would not inspire me to return. . .

I don?t often write a bad review but a mate and I had a very bad experience. Good was ok but had a bad customer service experience when it came to the bill. I had to do the maths to split the bill when it was clearly on the waiter?s screen. I ask can you not do it yourself? I don?t have a calculator I was told. Won?t be back, shame because the waitress we had treated us very well but like the Titanic he drove the ship to an iceberg.

My partner and I were there last evening for a quick bite, and their pizza gave us both severe food poisoning (it's the only common food we ate!). Not to mention the pizzas itself are quite overpriced for the portion size.
I am also quite annoyed that I was charged twice by my bank as it appears the first payment could not go through because their machine was out of charge (why bring it to the table then?). Upon bringing this up I was told that it should reflect in my account by today but nothing so far and I am starting to wonder if I actually just paid twice.
I've tried Pizza Express in other cities in the UK, this one was absolutely rubbish.

Absolutely disgraceful restaurant we have been to pizza express? all over the country no matter how busy they?ve been it?s never been a problem accommodating us. Walked into a restaurant barely 20% full, staff couldn?t be bothered only then for a manager to say they were struggling only two staff on and would be an hour wait at least. In the centre of Belfast, situation needs addressing. Absolutely appalling.

I?ve enjoyed pizza express for some time now but I was really disappointed with the service I received in Victoria Square location. We went in to see empty tables and assumed we will get seated, however after standing there for some time and asking a girl for an update, nothing happened. She went off and spoke to someone but never came back to rely the information. More people stood behind us and eventually after 15 min someone walked up and told us place doesn?t have enough cheese to take walk ins. I fully understand these situations happen, yet that should have been appropriately communicated instead of wasting our time. We booked a table in a different pizza express location and enjoyed the pizzas there.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was good, but the restaurant was a mess. Dirty abandoned tables everywhere. I nearly walked out before being sat down. Made the place feel a bit cheap, which is not what I would expect from Pizza

Visited Pizza Express Victoria Sq Belfast and after a short wait we were taken to a table. The waiter had dropped the cloth on the floor and then proceeded to wipe the table with this. The food was cold when it was brought out and we did not have any cutlery on the table. Quite disappointed to be honest.

Pizza was overdone and although I asked for a classic it was very obvious it was thin based, overall food was nowhere near normal standard, also mains were brought out while we were still eating our starters, poor standard for the price
