Gobsmacked!Booked a parcel to go from England to Belfast. Two weeks later I get an invoice for £18. £3.50 carry charge and £12.50 admin fee. Asked them what on Earth that was for? Got told that my parcel was not packaged in cardboard which it was but I further covered it in brown parcel tape for extra protection. After all brown parcel tape did go on the outside if I remember correctly. I am absolutely gobsmacked that someone would have the cheek to issue this false charge. They even sent a photo which clearly showed the corners of the cardboard. Either a jobs worth at Parcel Force or an idiot elsewhere. Either way...they have lost my custom. Seriously bad joke.UPDATE.Apparently because my parcel was completely covered in brown parcel tape, it therefore stopped being cardboard and had to be carried. I have never heard such total B.S.You have been warned...AVOID!
