Honestly such a shame with this store, used to have great facilities and customer service.Was shopping here today at 8 months pregnant and needed to use the restroom, went to their customer toilet to find it was locked, when I asked a member of staff I was told they didn?t exist, when challenged after I pointed them out apparently they have closed since lockdown. I can see from previous reviews that it?s not just heavily pregnant woman that get turned away but also disabled, should maybe revise policy to be more inclusive

As a disabled person I was at the boucher rd mataland they always had a public toilet .not today wouldn't give me a key to open toilets said wasn't open to public anymore disgrace big shopping complex no toilets won't b back

I am writting to maje people aware that Matalan Boucher road would not allow my 5 year grad daughter to use their toilet. I was left embarassed and angry my grand daughter was left in tears and very uncomforable.

Really rude worker with dark hair (had an accent) walked into the store with my partner and my baby daughter to have her throw horrible looks rolling of the eyes when she seen my pram! and told right come in but only one of u can go to the till and pointed u need to go that way round the shop in a natsy tone! I felt uneasy shopping after having her greet me at the door it cost nothing to smile at customers and be plesent

Got some good half price bargains in Matalan today (Sunday 12 May 2019) but the 3 out of 5 is because the customer toilet facility was out of order. Given that the Boucher crescent customer toilets are such a walk over to the far end of the retail park this was a real inconvenience. What I would say though is that when querying the staff had taken steps to try and resolve the issue but with plumbing issues in the park and it now being a landlord responsibility there is no timeline on resolution.
