I've been using this chippy since I was 9 year's old. Quality is still quite good, but the portions compared to the price these day's has really declined and sometimes a little disappointing.

Minimum charge on card is £5
So if you just want chips on card don?t come here
Food hygiene rating is 5 so all good
but food to me is only a three and it?s not great
Still a busy place
But not the best of the north to me
Asian chappy in the back doing cooking and prep seemed all ok
Looks like manny has the monopoly on this area
Nothing else north of here except right at top of shore road

Was charged £2.70 for a curry sausage today, got 3 so £8.10 total for 3 sausages with a bit of curry on them. Use to use this chippy multiple times a week until I called one day to complain about receiving only 12 chips with a chicken meal. Ever since that day they?ve been rude, condescending and clearly overcharging me. Wouldn?t recommend, not very professional.

Have been going to Manny's for over 25years + had the fish today they were like old boots couldn't find the fish nothing but batter and so small never again ?

£4.50 for a chip which I thought was expensive but assumed it would be worth it and nearly died when I seen the portion size. Absolutely ridiculous what Mannys are charging.

I ordered a fish supper and ended with something like you would buy from Iceland. I do not recommend and there's no way I will be back.
