Stayed one night for a business trip and i couldn't fault this hotel. Clean, modern, roomy, relaxing. Restaurant was popular, reasonably priced and great quality food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Big car park.Rooms: Clean and spacious. Recently refurbished.

Met family for a late lunch. We were given the same table we had previously which was perfect with wonderful attentive service. Food was fabulous, my sister is celiac and has to be so careful, but there was no problem with the guarantee of gluten free.

Spent one night (Sunday 28) January in the Ivanhoe. Lovely comfortable room and bed. Want to draw particular attention to a member of reception staff namely Anne. She was most helpful when I checked in and went the extra mile when I said that I had a bit of a headache and she asked if I would like a carafe of water sent to my room. She then insisted on helping me with my case as the lift was temporarily out of action. Such kind actions need to be mentioned and acknowledged. Many thanks Anne. Really appreciate the kind thoughts. Take care of self. Hope to see you the next time I wlvisit the Ivanhoe.

We called in for dinner before theatre visit. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Would have liked to see some veg included but we could have bought side orders. Three had dessert and one coffee. Pleasantly full, not stuffed, which is good - no one wants to fall asleep at the show.Nearby activities: Let?s Go Hydro is right beside this hotel/restaurant, fantastic location if you intending to visit it for a few days

Update to 4 stars!!!!!February 2024Much better! Service has drastically improved. Still a shame a lighting in the rooms is poor.But much better stay this time.October 2023Such a shame this place could be great.Lovely place, clean in great location for those working in Knockbracken healthpark.I found the rooms a little chilli. But they were clean and spacious. Beds comfy.However..... the service really let this place down.The staff were very young and inexperienced with poor service, lots of not knowing how to do things on reception bar, and every sitting of food we had there. There was no where to sit and talk to a colleague with a table for lap tops.The restaurant weren't ready every time we entered even though we booked. We were kicked out of restaurant and they close 9.50pm which felt very early. Night 1 the extractor from the kitchen kept me awake outside my window.Then the party in the ground floor room kept me awake night 2.Lighting in rooms and reception was pretty bad.Such a shame as the restaurant food was actually great. Overall the service really let this place down.Rooms: Cold but clean. Found the bathroom freezing, no heater in there.
