The café in the old library is very comfortably furnished and exudes a relaxed atmosphere.
The service is very friendly.
The quality of the food and drinks is good and at a local price level.

I don't go into Chocolat,since you put the prices up on chocolate cream on cappuccino. I don't mind paying this! Providing the profits goes too farmers, who are growing or harvesting the Coco beans. I don't want company, making Hughes profits for themselves.

I visited again yesterday. If a little of what you fancy does you good then you'll leave here on top form. It's the only place that I will order hot chocolate with the cream whip of course. I go for Milk 50% and I could opt for a range of choice like dark 70% or mint or chilli and so on. The chocolate whip atop presents a challenge as one must get to the table before the weight of the whip pressing down on the liquid Chocolat forces the chocolate to spill over out of the cup. So much for surface tension versus gravity at .7 and all the other laws of physics at play here it's still after all a cup of hot chocolate albeit a very tasty cup of hot chocolate. The staff no doubt too low paid are a cheerful crew sadly in a country deliberately made miserable by tories who seem to relish in making people earn their poverty while finding even more money to pay themselves. An MP can now count on an annual salary with expenses circa £200k. The hot chocolate isn't the only mug I'm looking at.

Today wasn't a good day, I know Christmas season is busy and hectic schedule for everyone but the staff was serving me today was seem not friendly maybe his having a bad day, he looks so grumpy and doesn't feel his at work.
I hope it will never happen again, because I enjoyed my hot chocolate here. I worked 12 hours shift and I just want to be feel relaxed and feel the service is good even it's not perfect.

I had a hot Dark 85% regular size with cocoa whip. The drink tastes excellent - both the whip and drink were smooth, strong in the cocoa taste while not bitter. I highly recommend you to have a drink and take a break there. Shop some beautiful chocolate as souvenirs or gifts. They all taste good.However the staff wasn't very nice - she didn't ask me if I have the drink here or takeaway. The beautiful whip was destroyed by the cover. I don't understand why she worked in this way because I was the only one in the queue. It's an hour before the closure. Nothing needs to rush.
