Just gets better. Just shows when you do something well it's worth the effort. Trad music Thursday, Ken Haddock Friday then over for the football Sunday. Staff saying they had a massive turnout for the rugby on Saturday. Now a comedy club to look forward to. Have to organise a bit more via busses to get in from a bit further away but definitely worth the trip.

No food, pub atmosphere is good, good atmosphere at weekend

The hearth has responded, and explained food can be ordered/brought into the pub for consuming, this is a great idea imho, money saving in today's climate.

Place is very dirty and the only toilet roll in the bathroom was covered in mould cold food was also served the wee girl was lovely but still over priced and dirty

had a function booked last night. spoke to the staff through phonecalls and in the bar to arrange the night. the staff told us the room would be set up, and would set our stuff up if we left it up to them prior. left the stuff up at 3pm and showed up for 7pm party starting. the room was a tip. tables all stinking , straws all over the floor. nothing set up and a manager who didn't seem interested in any of it at all. spoke to him to express our stuff wasn't set up and the place was stinking and he proceeded to go outside with his mate for a smoke. the complete disregard and sloppy set up was abysmal. id suggest if you are having a party here you take everything with a pinch of salt. and do it yourself. everything we were told turned out false. manager was shocking and didn't give a hoot. not impressed at all.

Not very comfortable. Staff disinterested. Poor signage on the beer taps, leading to having to ask about the identity of 2 taps; answer grudging.

While visiting friends in Belfast they took us to a few of their neighborhood pubs and this one stands out for the friendly staff, and the atmosphere. We went on a Thursday to catch some live ?trad music.? People were dancing and singing along, our whole family enjoyed it!
