“We were delighted to be invited to try a ‘Nu’ concept of dining out at the fabulous Nu Delhi Lounge, a 150 seater Indian restaurant on Great Victoria Street in Belfast. Using the best local produce, and a fusion of traditional Punjabi spices the chefs at Nu Delhi have created a menu of light, tasty and vibrant regional dishes, and we couldn’t wait to try what was on offer. First, we were treated to a fantastic starter sharing board, which included a variety of tasty appetisers; we loved the Tandoori King Prawns, the Masala Chilli Squid, and the Onion Bhajis, although everything was so good, it was hard to pick a favourite! To follow, the Monkfish Chettinadu had monkfish tikka fillets served in a coconut & coriander sauce with mustard seeds & curry leaf to deliver a gentle heat, and the stunning Paneer Shaslik had enormous chunks of homemade cottage cheese, with onions and peppers, marinated and cooked in the tandoori grill and served with Masala potatoes. Sensational! Renowned for amazing Indian cuisine, great drinks & cocktails, excellent service, and a sophisticated cosmopolitan vibe, Nu Delhi combines the traditional with the modern to create a unique and delicious dining experience.”

“Food and decor was beautiful here the only downfall from was that the water was off so staff were very busy and distracted we sat for 15 minutes with no menus etc and going to the restroom, washing hands etc was not great as there was no water. We also had drinks added to our bill which was not ours however it was refunded with no issues and understandable. Regardless of this the food was beautiful and I would love to go back again soon”

“Great little place with a great vibe. Plenty of screens for you to watch your favourite sport on and good choice of drinks. There was a good little band on when we were there. Was very busy though and that was just during the week.”

The portions were massive for the price (we ordered a sandwich and it contained at least 150gr of good quality meat, completely unexpected for 10£). The place was beautiful and very clean. I can't say enough good things about Maureen's. The flowers are always gorgeous and delivery is beyond reliable. “I rang and spoke with Natalie on Saturday and explained to her I needed wedding flowers, but at extremely short notice (Thursday). She couldn't of been kinder on the phone and understood the circumstances. Thursday morning the flowers came, they were absolutely stunning and exactly ehat I wanted. She couldn’t have been more helpful.Car parking on this site is a well documented nightmare with not enough spaces and far too many jaywalkers!However, the store and the staff more than make up for that with special mention of Suma - such an asset to the company. With her engaging personality and warm smile she is an eternal ray of sunshine guaranteed to brighten up the darkest of days.”

The only thing I find wrong and not just with this restaurant but quite a lot, the chefs don't wear the nets on their heads or beards. It's quite off putting, everyone should wear either the nets or baseball caps to stop hair potentially getting into the food.”

“Me and my partner were in Belfast today and decided to come to this restaurant as he had been about 7 years ago with friends and remembers enjoying it. Well nothing has changed, it’s still as good! The food was delicious and the price was good for how much you get. The staff are so, so, so friendly and happy to explain everything to us novices. Was a really nice end to the trip!”

“Went for iceCream/desserts late afternoon. It was crowded and we had to wait for being seated. The place was v busy, buzzing n noisy with family crowd. We went with teenaged kids and didn't mind the rush, infact would describe it lively . But maybe not for someone looking for a quieter setting.
Chocolate Sunday is a large portion size n we struggled to finish it all even though it was yumm. Nothing to complain there. Mixins of both Chocolate n Strawberry were great . Cheese cake comes with an option of ice-cream or cream. We mistakenly said ice-cream but we're also served cream when asked later, promptly by our server.
Great wee outlet n we love popping down there at all times of the day.”
