“Some readers may consider my comments sad, or even pathetic. Please bear with me until you have read my entire comments and then make your judgement. I'm a 68 year old fella from a lovely wee coastal town, some forty minutes from our gorgeous city of Belfast.Today I celebrate being ALIVE. One year ago today, I was released from Antrim Hospital, having been a patient for two weeks, having been the recipient of a BRAIN HEMORRHAGE. SIX WEEKS AFTER THE FIRST HEMORRHAGE I SUSTAINED A SECOND BRAIN HEMORRHAGE. I will forever be so grateful and thankful to all the medical staff in Antrim Hospital and The Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. This is where DUNNES STORE comes into my story. The day I had my first Hemorrhage, I was about to go to DUNNES store in BALLYMENA, but that was not to be.My home town of Larne, closed it's DUNNES store and DUNNES for many in the town, was the very centre of our community, as it was geographically. When DUNNES left town, it was as though the very heart of our community had been ripped out. To celebrate my first year of life after two brain hemorrhages, I spent three days in Belfast, having NOT STAYED IN BELFAST FOR JUST OVER HALF A CENTURY.DUNNES STORE on High Street/Corn Market, Belfast, was my greatest delight for the entire trip. Now I can hear the comments...lol. "Crazy ole goat", "You should see this review. Some old fella spent three days shopping at DUNNES. He's gotta be on something...lol".What a wonderful three days in DUNNES STORE. I got my new socks, underwear in its entirety, meaning; 10 long John's for winter, 10 boxer trunks,9 t-shirts, trousers and finally shirts. I bought a lot more than this in DUNNES and look forward to my next visit. The quality of everything I have ever bought from DUNNES, is truly amazing. As long as DUNNES exists, I shall NEVER BUY MY CLOTHING FROM ANYWHERE OTHER THAN DUNNES.I only have one request of DUNNES. Would it be asking too much to ask the staff at checkout to at very least SMILE. Sadly, all the staff who served me, expressed an abundance of...."I really don't want to be here, and what are you so happy about???". I'm afraid that when you've had a couple of brain hemorrhages, you tend to have a thankfulness and joy in your heart, that you cannot help but desire the same for other people's lives.DUNNES HQ....I'M. SORRY YOU HAD TO CLOSE YOUR STORE IN LARNE, BUT, TRAVEL I SHALL, TO OBTAIN WHAT I CLASS AS THE BEST CLOTHING AVAILABLE, WHETHER RICH OR POOR.”

“Visited this store a couple of times and they certainly do have big labels at small prices. I'd have liked to have seen a little more knit wear and perhaps some more Irish Labels, but overall the experience was good and the staff were extremely helpful.I was able to change an item (with the receipt) and was also given the option to have the money replaced on the card.Thank you Oper:6046”

Only gripe is that there's no pharmacy to buy medication.??.Also,Do not use the photo booth in the main mall,Swiped my bank card 3 times(£6 per swipe,that's £18) before I realised the booth was'nt working.Reported this upstairs at entertainment dept,Still waiting on reply and my refund?”

“Very neat store and well arranged. Member of staff assigned to disinfect cash register's panels regularly. Parking is ample and slightly separate from rest of Longwood (shared with Matalan)- but within walking distance of Abbey Centre as well. Well stocked.”

“Amazing experience - I’d been running around trying to find a good quality sofa when I stopped in to Next to look at sofas haphazardly. Ended up asking a couple of questions that turned into an in depth overview of materials, sizings and styles of sofas. The manager (who I believe is called Mark) was brilliant at not only giving advice, information and colour swatches but also at giving space to have a think over what you were looking at.

Never a fan of feeling under pressure in a store and didn’t feel it here. I walked in sure I wasn’t getting a sofa from next and left sold on the idea that there was nowhere better.

I went in a day later and Anna was also a brilliant help. Very quick, chatty and friendly ensuring the colour, material and sizing were definitely what I wanted before ordering and talking me through the finance process making it a breeze.

The sofa has now arrived and again I’m really impressed, the delivery men were friendly and efficient. I live in a quirky terrace and getting it into the room I wanted upstairs was dubious but they did a great job.

Finally the verdict on the sofa is that it is very comfortable, fits perfectly and the colour and texture is exactly what I wanted. It’s another piece added to my home office that I’m slowly trying to decorate.

The finance team were also great in that I could change the date to one that suited me better payment wise (but that technically Barclays).

I’m waiting on an ottoman that should arrive soon but I’m not worried in the slightest about quality if everything so far is what I’m going off.

Overall I genuinely don’t think there is anything I could say that would be negative about my experience. Some of the best customer service I’ve had in years and I’ve dealt with a lot of companies and businesses in the last year since moving home. 11/10

Lauren is such a gem going through my mams whole makeup routine and explaining how to properly use and utilize each and every one in her routine.
