“This is a decent sized restore shop. Mostly sells furniture and bicycles. Prices can be varied in here but mostly reasonable prices. Delivery service available If you buy furniture etc think its £15. Staff are friendly. There are apartments in the building next to it. There is a refresh cafe in the building next which is part of refresh, there is a large seating area with bright colourful seats. The food in here is nice, I usually get the beef steak strips in ciabatta with sweet chilli sauce, salad and chips usually under £6 and is quite filling they normally give you good portions. Usually have a deal of the day displayed on a board above the hot food counter , lots of other food available like soups, tortilla pizzas, curry, cakes, sandwiches, tea , coffee and lots more. Takaway or sit in.”

“I’ve never personally been to this place but I am so happy that there are people fighting for abortion rights and supporting women in their choices. As a catholic, not all of us are bigots. But don’t let those who are stop you from doing this amazing work”

“Oxfam Ballyhackamore is a little more than your average charity shop. It'll be one of your more productive charity shopping shops, as there's so much to choose from and look at for a start. Not only do they have a decent selection of clothes, plus the obligatory knick-knacks, ornaments, DVDs, Vinyls etc., but there is also a good variety of furniture. Think old computer monitors for £15, glass chess sets for £30 plus tables, chairs, display cases, bureaus, bedside tables...the whole lot. Not only that, but they've just started up a baby gift service (awww...), and will either provide you with a pre-made basket, or will happily construct a hamper upon request if you provide the gifts (for a small fee). You can spend anywhere from £5 to £30 on one, which means there's really no excuse to find something that matches your budget. And what a novel idea! Something that will go to a good cause, and will also mean a whole lot to the family of that baby boy or girl. Good work Oxfam Ballyhack...keep it up.”

“Another great charity shop for me to have a hoke about in. The lady working here wasn't very friendly, in fact she didn't even acknowledge my presence in the shop but hey, that's fine with me. Again a great collection of ladies garments and many from very expensive high street stores such as Jaegar and Karen Millan to name drop a few. Gotta love charity shops in affluent areas. This one is well run and organised as all the clothes are arranged by colour - i've never seen this done before. I had a look through but didn't see anything I wanted that day, though there was a nice pair of wedged sandals from River Island going at the very reasonable price of £3.00 which I may go back for another day. A decent experience and I'd say you would have a good chance of scooping a bargain in here. I said cheerio - she said nothing!”
