I recently left my freelander into get some work carried out. Door lock.. heat sheld and petrol cap opening fault.. all seemed well and i got a call telling me that my car was ready.. work sheet was read out to confirm bill to find the fault with petrol cap wasn't conpleted. So car was held to conplete this fault. I then got the call that job was conpleted with the amended bill. I collected the car went to fill up the vehicle with fuel to find fuel cap still didn't open .. so i can't help but think my fault was rushed through without a final car check before it was handed back to me.. a fuse had been replaced behind th glove compartment that was covered with oily finger and hand prints which added to my concerns..in hindsight i should have checked the vehicle myself . I then had to rebook my car in to have the petrol cap fixed with another amended bill . Before this i was then asked if i knew any other mcananics that may be able to fix my petrol cap..this puzzled me that a company of good standing would ask this of a customer as all i wanted was my repairs conpleted through them However i got the car back and the problems where fixed. My vehicle isn't worth a lot but can say i was disappointed with the customer service i received and additional inconvenience to myself , in the hope charles hurst land rover may learn from this issue as i have . Attentive staff but generally a terrible experience- like having your car repaired by your bank- they have lots of money, but they don?t feel the need to spend it on improving service.

My car needed a minor repair under warranty. The diagnosis and repair were carried out in a single visit because the parts (non-stock items) had been ordered in advance. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. I was very pleased with the way the repair was handled.

Went into Charles Hurst Land Rover on the Boucher fed to require about a evoque meet a salesman Mark McMullan he showed me the vehicle I was looking for after that was offered coffee to discuss about vehicle wasn?t pushing it on me told him would think about buying it overnight anyway bought the vehicle mark kept me updated whole way until collection day on the Saturday off collection was offered more coffee got the paperwork and was showed round a polished up evoque which was happy with big surprise off the day was when mark came back with the keys and a lovely big bunch off flowers for the wife which she loved

Bought a discovery sport in 2023, in total been in 17 weeks for various different repairs. Place is a shambles, customer service is none existent. 17 weeks without the offer of a courtesy car is just out and out ridiculous. Avoid at all costs.

I feel very disappointed and frustrated with Charles hurst as I went into my appointment for a Towbar recall which I was told over the phone is a fit-able job by the jlr team, the service advisor had assured me that it is a 1.5 hour job and wouldn?t take too long I then return a few hours later to find this box in my passenger seat which contained the recall parts and a guide on how to fit it, I had also asked if my car could be washed and I later find that they couldn?t be bothered to wash it as I wasn?t paying for anything as it was a recall service I am deeply disappointed and wouldn?t recommend JLR to anyone who buys and JLR product the Land Rover name and brand as been swayed by a younger less reliable and experienced team which shouldn?t been trading.
