Hi
Called into the cage for a quick brunch today. Service was quick and efficient. The food was quite disappointing. Omelettes and scrambled eggs were very overcooked to the point they were totally dry.
Another customer came into the shop with a small dog which attracted the attention of the waitresses behind the counter who were straight over to pet and feed the dog. I watched as neither waitress washed their hands before returning to the counter to pour fresh coffees etc? I couldn?t believe it! Just glad we had already received our food before this encounter.
Will not return.

I always walked past this cafe, today I ventured in. Great coffee, great staff, best on the road.
Served within a few moments of arriving. Nothing increases your appetite more than a warm smile, brilliant.
So nice I had a second coffee to go. Talk about a mood enhancer experience.
Will definitely be back with a friend, as the food menu looked great and cafe was not as noisy as other neighbouring coffee shops in vicinity usually are.
Toilets were also spotlessly. clean.
It was nice to feel wanted.

Had the avocado on sourdough bread with side of mushrooms. Delicious, fresh, clean cooking. Highly recommend and found it very reasonable priced. Compliments to the chef. Bonus to be welcomed by friendly staff too

UPDATE: I went back two more times after my first review! The food is excellent and fresh. The pancakes are so good I braved a rainstorm to walk to the place!
