I had fantastic service from Burbridge DuCann. I must especially single out Steven who personally kept me up to date, on all aspects, and progress on the sale of my late mothers house. Including organising the house clearance, auction, and invaluable, advice when i was not sure on some things as i live in England. I can highly recommend for a very personal service, at a very resonable cost

AVOIDTheir agent is charming, but I found this company not ethical in terms of dealing with the tennants and do not recommend their services as an agency for renting in the NI.1. The property was rented to us in a poor state, inc. broken chairs, audio/video system, glass table, recycle bin, unsealed windows letting wind in - all of this was not repaired during the 1.5 years of rental. In particular, we overpaid for heating of the main bedroom due to this poor attitude to us. When we reported a problem, we were persuaded that it is not a large problem or they can not solve it.2. All the problems were hidden from the next tennant, and when I asked to solve them before their check-in, the response was "Look, it is not your business".3. The urgent request for repairing sink blockage took several weeks to sort out, which left us living in the smelling kitchen/main room being unable to use the sink for this time. The electrician adjusted lamps several times, but still they were not working due to some voltage problem.4. Too many emails were lost or left unresponded when we asked help or some assistance. We timely reported about a pet, got approval, and it was the agency that has not sent us some of their forms, but later made us guilty we havent returned this form to them. Our friend wanted to take the tennancy after us and I reported about it months before we left via an email (again the email was lost). The cherry on the cake was when they reported the deposit was returned to us, but in fact it was sent only after my reminder to their worker 3 days after.5. The check out was quite a disaster - we have regularly cleaned the property, inc. two full days before the leaving, yet we were charged for (8!) hours of cleaning the kitchen. I agreed on 1-2 hours extra cleaning as I could precisely say how long it might take (hovering & mopping, polishing the kitchen surfaces + washing the small piece of entry door carpet). Their photo argumentation that crops on the floor require 8 hours of deep cleaning might have worked with someone who never done clearning at home. Moreover, their cleaning rate is 1.5 times lager than on the market, and they charge for the time the cleaning crew were on their way. It was clear like a day they did not avoid a chance to grab the part of deposit when possible.
