Pat picked us up at our hotel. He shared a number of photos before we headed for our tour. He was 63 years old & possessed a great deal of knowledge on the subject he was sharing with us. He covered both Falls & Shankill Roads. We got out of the cab on many occassions to view murals or for Pat to give us a more in depth information on this time period.
It is a very personal tour. There was only two of us in the cab. The 90 minutes passed by very quickly. The tour provided a lot of background on the time of The Troubles. The tour was unbiased and we came away satisfied.

We did the three-hour Ultimate Belfast Experience Tour with Joel, which included Stormont, the Cathedral Quarter, a political mural tour, and more. It was an outstanding experience. Joel was a safe driver, very knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Hearing his personal experiences brought the history to life, and he even tailored the tour to include my family?s past homes, which made it especially meaningful. Highly recommend Taxi Tours Belfast ? a must-do when visiting the city.

My husband and I did a tour with Paul the day before we left Belfast. I would highly suggest taking a tour with him. Since he lived it. We both got a greater understanding of the conflict. Paul also gave us some media suggestions that were greatly appreciated.

Our Taxi driver Sean was amazing! He taught us all about the political conflicts in Belfast and showed us all of the murals and sights and told us all of the stories behind them. He was very knowledgeable and the tour was so interesting. We couldn?t recommend this tour and Sean enough we really enjoyed the experience it was the highlight of the day!

It was an informative tour. Learn a lot about the struggles that Northen Ireland is going through. Love the murals are the city. I heard one side of the story, now interested to hear the other side. Very cool experience especially for people who are interested in history

We booked the Black Cab Belfast taxi tour after being recommended it by a friend who was born in Belfast.
Our driver Jimmy was superb, friendly, engaging, extremely knowledgeable and conveyed all the information about some very sensitive issues in an informative and professional way.
There was no question that was off limits, and this really helped us better understand the issues that have been in play for so many centuries.
While there are aspects of the tour that are quite confronting we left Belfast with a far better understanding. I have to say some of the views I held prior to the tour have now changed- thanks Jimmy!
If you come to Belfast, please do take this tour, no trip here would be complete without doing this.

Spent the day in Belfast and this was the first thing we did after getting off the train. A friend had recommended it and we were so glad she did.
What an eye opening experience. The stories of both sides of ?the troubles ? and how life was back then to how it still is now was eye opening and shocking. I found the entire experience overwhelming and was close to tears based on what I saw and heard. Our driver was unbiased and we really appreciated this.
If it were not for this tour we never would have known the true Belfast and would have left with only impressions of the new modernized downtown core.
This tour is an absolute must if you are going to Belfast. Both sides of the conflict deserve to have their story heard and the rest of the world needs to learn the ?non? media version of what life is still like now.
The wall needs to come down, literally and figuratively.
Thank you Black Cab Tours. I won?t soon forget what you have taught us.
