Every time I come back home to Norn Iron I make a point of eating at Bistro Este.The food is always exceptional and today was no different - the tuna tartare and the chateau briande were magnificent. This is truely a great restaurant.

The cod in curry was excellent. The sauce was divine. The sauv blanc was excellent and also black forest martini was a great dessert. Excellent restaurant.

Had a lovely dinner here at Christmas and was so looking forward to taking my husband. But I was really disappointed today. 40 minute wait and my chicken supreme was very disappointing. Huge burnt Yorkshire pudding and over cooked rock hard roast potatoes. Chicken was nice if a little skimped ?

Este Bistro has a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Nice jazz music playing in the background, decor is stylish and comfortable and service is very good. The food I had was lovely, well presented and fresh produce but, for me, it had too much salt in it, this spoilt the flavour which otherwise would have been an excellent meal. Please reduce the amount of SALT used Este Bistro! The table top had a stickiness to it which also had a bit of a rank smell that was off-putting. I?m not sure if they?re being wiped with a clean cloth or it?s the varnish on the top giving off a smell but the restaurant needs to be aware of this and make changes. However, if they make these small changes it will be a top notch restaurant and I hope they do because there are so many positives with it.

Service was excellent- attentive yet not overbearing.
Our waitress was front of house and created a connection, set the tone and delivered a flawless service to us from the minute we arrived. Husband commented at end of meal that he was disappointed with the truffle/parmesan triple cooked chips we ordered as a side. Agreed they weren?t the best as lacked any crisp texture. They were served with a dollop of grated unmelted Parmesan which covered the top layer of 3 chips but meant the rest had no Parmesan flavouring at all.
Nonetheless we ate them but waitress took them off the bill, unprompted, given husband?s comment.
Would not have expected this as we are them anyway and food /ambiance and service we received from our waitress was flawless. Very impressed with the menu on offer - so different from the usual local restaurants in BT4 and especially great to see brilliant service from experienced staff who understand hospitality and the importance of delivering the feel good factor for customers.
Love this restaurant.
Bravo to the chef & team in the kitchen for delivering fab food and to the front of house ladies who were bang on point with their service .

Exceptional service with beautiful food. We had a great night here with friends last night. We had a baby with us and the staff were unbelievably attentive and helpful, even rocking him over while we were eating! Every single member of staff were so friendly and attentive the whole night along with beautiful food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere I would highly recommend it to anyone I know!
