“Best mechanic in Northern Ireland Graham!Over 25yrs with Hillfoot.He's a mechanic not a receptionist.Took my car to 1a Sinclair Street Bt5 for diagnostics they said 4 injectors and timing belt, I can book you in next week, no thanks I use Hillfoot autos!Graham diagnosed over the phone crankshaft sensor.You want honesty, experience and expertise call Graham and leave him to it.You want someone to charge you politely for unnecessary work take yourself to the first 2 places on the Sandown Road!”

“Despite living in Carryduff for past 10 years, continued taking my car to Belfast for services etc for those 10 years having built trust with a garage there.Today though I finally tried a garage in Carryduff. The fella who fixed my brakes seemed like a great guy, charged a fair price and told a few stories. Salt of the earth.Was embarrassing seeing the remains of my brake discs though.. ?Update: Visit on 9th June 22 - fantastic again. Phoned yesterday with battery trouble. Said call down today to take a look. Very friendly, figured out issue in 10 mins and had it ready for me a couple hours later. Fantastic ?”
“Ordered car battery and paid online, had to queue for about 10 mins to get served, due to two other customers not knowing what part they wanted. There were a few customers infront of me (and behind me) with one staff member serving, not an issue as I wasn't in a rush. Once I got to the front of the queue I was served quickly and the battery was the correct one for my car and £20 cheaper than elsewhere.”

“My car failed the mot on Sunday due to the drivers side sill being rusted and holes in it, Rang Stephen that day and dropped the car to him that night and had it cut, welded and painted for the next day and booked the mot again for today (Tuesday) and she passed no problem. “I had the most positive experience today! I needed air in my tyres but the dust caps were stuck. The lovely guy at the till came out and managed to get them off with pliers. Explained why and what we needed to do thoroughly. I needed a valve replaced which he done there and then, filled all tyres and replaced the dust caps. He couldn't have been more helpful or efficient! Gentleman!!”

“Skateboard for the granddaughter . Lost hours both in person and online with Decathlon only to find they didn’t deliver to Northern Ireland . Sorted online with Halfords in minutes board I wanted bought on the 31st October click and collect and was emailed to pick up in newtownabbey store on the 2nd of November brilliant. Any skateboarders out there or any present hunter recommend Halfords 100%”
“Callum and Frank fitted me in even though they were fully booked, my car was completely disabled (hole in the wall of the tire) and I managed to limp to the centre at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon with a completely full shop. They politely told me at first that they could not fit it in and when they saw me outside 30mins later they said that they could not leave me stranded (I was visiting to drop my daughter to uni so had to be on the Ferry Sunday night). Sorting my issue, meant that they were a few mins late locking up and had to rush at the end of the day. I really appreciated that effort way beyond normal service.”

“Staff are very friendly. Homeware is on second floor. Escalators facing you as you enter. Home prep (B&Q) type stuff; wood, paints, workers bits & bobs downstairs. It’s often hard to find a member of staff it’s that big but they start putting their Christmas stuff out mid October so it’s a great place to go if you’re like me and want to get the best stuff before everything is squashed. Especially tree ornaments etc. they have an outdoor plant section too.”
