Decided to try somewhere different than my usual - had heard good reports about Swan - as you can tell from my star rating that was NOT my experience.
Placed my order online at 6.20pm - had to ring the restaurant at 7.30 to be told it was leaving now, and had to ring again at 8pm as it had not yet arrived! Service on the phone was friendly, but waiting nearly 2hrs for a delivery on a Wednesday night was not the one.
Food arrived - thankfully it was still warm- it definitely did not leave at 7.30 as originally told. I got the special menu for one - the starter items were lacklustre and overcooked - empty spring rolls; all wrapper, no filling, chicken ball with the faintest hint of chicken and greasy, and a very tired bbq rib. The chicken curry was serviceable, but lacking flavour. I?ll be sticking to my usual Chinese in future; a little more expensive, but worth every penny.

Order a snack box last night ,the chicken balls were very doughy and tasted like savoury pancakes wouldn't order again.

excellent take away, great sized portions, always busy & staff are constantly under pressure from volume of customers. I've never gone, no matter the day or time & it not be busy

Took 2 hrs and 50 mins for delivery called twice still took and r and twenty kins after 2 phone will never get delivery again very poor pity the food is excellent.

Just added 30p to the price on the menu.. new menu only out last month..
Sticking the arm in. No wonder they can't be trusted. Food is fine but they are just exploiting things.
Would rather go somewhere where they advertise the right price. It's the principle.

Have always ordered from here and the app asks any notes/instructions for your order. Put a message on please can I have instead of chips or fried rice and have yeong chow fried rice. No got chips plus sauce was seeping out of the bag all over plus it was over half an hour for delivery and absolutely freezing. What is the point if they ask any special instructions and don't read it!!!!!

Mixed feelings. Their food is really good. But their delivery time is really bad. We?ve used them a few times and it always takes around 2 hours and they forget sauces and dips. When ever you phone them up they always say ?it?s just leaving with the driver now?. Real pity, cos their food is great but they are unreliable.
