just want say how amazing the Santa at Bloomfields is!!! We were meant to have my friends son with us but he wanted to stay with his mummy. She?s terminally ill and is bed bound. With her being a single mummy they have such a tight bond and he just didn?t want to see Santa without her (he?s only 5) so when we got to Santa I had asked would it be possible for him to have a quick word over FaceTime with them both. Expecting just a quick ?hello?

Uberfone were, yet again, fantastic! I managed to get a charging cable end stuck in the port and thought the iPad was a gonner. Less than two minutes in Uberfone and it was completely fixed with zero charge! Excellent customer service again. Many thanks.

Had booked take my kids see Santa on 28th, with latest circuit breaker released on Thursday evening, this was obviously cancelled. Friday morning a lovely lady called Rachel rang to ask if we could come today (21st) for santa. Absolutely fantastic re arranging in such short period of time to keep our little ones happy and some form of normal for them. Was very impressed and set up just lovely, with well spaced out decorations keep kids busy while they wait and more importantly keep distance. Thank you Bloomfields and also huge thank you to Santa, Mrs Clause and photographer for sorting at such short notice

Called today to ask for a wheel chair for a stroke client so I could take her to buy pyjames. Was told they didn't have the staff/ time to sanitize it! I even offered to sanitize it if they could provide one and they refused. Then I called Ards shopping centre and nothing was a problem.

Had a lovely day shopping here today, took my little boy to his first visit to see santa. I can honestly this is the best santa iv came across was just brilliant with my son and also a mention to the lady that helps him and the boy that prints the photos both also lovely people who gave us a really nice experience. I hate having to get into the mall by walking through a cloud of smoke due to the bins being right next to the doors. Signs are irrelevant if it not enforced. The signs previously were so high up the wall you could not see them unless you looked up, and management never enforced the signs. Make a change please!

Having a Barratts next to a Clarks is a little like having a Prada shop next to a Primark in the world of fashion quality, but such is life in the crazy topsy turvy world of Newtownards shopping centre! That is not to say however that this store doesn't have a good role to play for the people of Newtownards. Their brand of low price leather shoes, boots, bags and shows for both genders (well, only shoes for males unless you are of a certain persuasion, in which case you would be going to a certain type of shop for a more hooker-like look than you would get in here!) does a good job when you need shoes that look good but don't sting too bad. The staff are very friendly in here as I discovered when I came in here to get new work shoes at a low price and they were only too willing to help me find cheaper shoes when I thought the shoes I selected were on offer for a tenner when they were really forty sheets! One session of laughter later at my cheap and trampy nature and new cheaper shows were promptly located, so thank you Barratts!

Certainly not the most fashionable place but you will get plenty of high wuality, well wearing and long lasting shoes. Its a little bit like Clarks in that way and I'm sure there are plenty of people who go here yearly to get school shoes or shoes for work that will last a long time and don't look really dorky. Its definitely more of a shop for girls, with there being much more of a selection for female shoe shoppers. Girlfriends of mine have got boots and going out shoes in here in the past and never had any problems. There isn't much for guys other than office/work/school shoes. The staff are polite and friendly and always available to help out.
