Wanted to get myself a decent pair of binoculars for an upcoming holiday. Waited for Black Friday in the hope of getting some decent discounts. Disappointed with all the so-called deals. A friend suggested Abbey Pharmacy so went down there on ?Black Friday ?.What a good decision. Gavin, the pharmacist is a real expert on optical equipment. For me the advice and recommendations he provided were so worth listening to. When purchasing binoculars online, you can read all the reviews you like but to physically see, hold and use a set makes such a difference and should be recommended before purchasing, especially with the amount of money that sometimes can be involved. I gave Gavin my budget and I am delighted with my new binoculars. Most importantly, I found the price far more competitive than any online and ?Black Friday" deal.If you are thinking of buying a set of binoculars, would absolutely recommend Abbey Pharmacy.

This is one of the longest running and best respected pharmacies in Bangor and has been in this current location for a long, long time. It is right on Abbey street which means that it is very close to the main NHS health centre in town. The staff here are well known and extremely knowledgable. I have had to call in here for a prescription on a number of occassions and always found the staff to be extremely helpful paitent and willing to go the extra mile to help out. The service is always quick and discreet which is exactly what you are looking for from a pharmacy. There is usually pretty good parking outside as well which is a huge bonus if you are just popping in quickly to grab something.
