Went to this place as it?s local to me, previous meals in it ages ago were not great which turned me away from it for a while, however after going in for a drink or two and seeing the new food I had to try it out.Weekend before valentines went in and was called a ?regular? by the server (I don?t know if that?s good or not because I?d only been drinking in it before going in for food ??)Sat down for my meal and got a chicken wing starter and it was delightful, partner had a Caesar salad, and while there?s not much interesting you can do with a Caesar salad, she was very impressed.For main I decided to get a steak sandwich, now when I get steak sandwiches, I?m very picky with the steaks, however I was greatly surprised with a perfectly cooked steak, crispy beautiful bread and the sauce was amazing. Got garlic skinny fries with it and they were delightful.My partner got honey chilli chicken, and I had to steal some from her to make the review more well rounded, and I have to say, it was lovely, breaded well, sauce was nice and overall the food was good.If you are looking for fresh, warm food. Definitely stop in here for a bite to eat!

Gilmore restaurant is spacious. Well set out..staff very attentive and pleasant..a good variety on the menu.Food was very nice.Toilet check....spotless.Receptionist was very friendly and helpful..Attended a concert..seats were comfortable but room was very cold upon doors opening..Seats reserved..dont like this as it makes one think that a certain people's money is better than others. Doesn't look well on the promoter...Overall a nice hotel..very clean

We had our wedding here on Sunday and it was absolutely amazing from start to finish the staff were absolutely amazing and done everything to make the day stress free for myself and my wife. Fiona went above and beyond for us. and the lady who was on the desk at front off house was also very helpful and very friendly. We couldn't recommend this place enough for a wedding venue. Staff are amazing, venue is amazing and grounds are amazing. just an amazing day all round. Thanks so much to everyone involved. Jenna and William

Stayed two nights for wedding 1st and 2nd feb.. receptionist was excellent on check in and so helpful had food first night a bit pricey but no complaints with quality of food.Wedding on 2nd day and everything perfect great grounds outside hotel as well ,great service and excellent food. Rooms very comfortable. Good breakfast as well..drinks a bit on the expensive side but probally hotel prices. Staff very friendly and approachable

Myself and my partner went to the bridal fair a few weeks ago and were blown away with how beautiful the grounds were. The staff were amazing, so nice and helpful. Sarah, the wedding co ordinator was excellent, nothing was too much of a bother to her and when we came back the following week for a wedding viewing she went out of her way to make sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. She showed us around the hotel walking us through what our day would look like, going into every detail. We will definitely think about the Millbrook Lodge when booking our wedding.Noteworthy details: Grounds around the hotel for wedding photographs
