NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY... After placing an order totaling over £15, I asked if I could have some warm water to prepare my baby?s bottle. To my surprise, the staff refused, citing policy, which left me in a difficult and uncomfortable situation as a parent.
I understand there may be health and safety guidelines, but a little compassion and flexibility in such situations would go a long way. It was a simple request and not an unreasonable one, especially given the amount we had just spent.
I hope you will consider reviewing this policy or providing better guidance to your staff to accommodate basic needs like this for families.

Very lovely cafe to be in, wonderful lady served me, unfortunately I didn't look for a name tag so I'm unsure of her name. I decided to get her something and she came over and gave me a hug which brought a few tears to my eyes, what a wonderful lady. Thank you for serving me today! <3

I?m really upset with the service I received today. I approached the counter to order my coffee and a chocolate twist, and the girl who took my order was incredibly rude. She didn?t make us feel welcome at all and was rolling her eyes throughout the interaction. I tried to ignore it and walked away to wait for my order. Another girl made the coffee, and she was much more welcoming. However, after waiting another 5 minutes, we still hadn?t received the chocolate twist. I asked the same girl who took my order, and once again, I was met with an eye roll and no apology. The food was fine, but the service was really disappointing.

My girlfriend and I visited here recently and wanted to treat ourselves to a seasonal drink (Gingerbread Latte) and a hot cinnamon roll. The drinks were made pretty quickly, although the staff making them were rowdy and were sharp with one another, which did not put a professional vibe out there to their line of customers waiting at the counter.When our drinks etc were put in front of me, I noticed straight away that the two spoons provided were both dirty and weren't washed properly prior. I told the counter staff this immediately and they just replaced them and never even apologized about this (this being an unfortunate theme of cafés at the moment I notice).The coffees themselves were nice but way too sweet and the core flavour was lost as a result, the cinnamon roll however was delicious although was not hot, but just about warm.Some customer training for employees and a basic cleanliness regime would be beneficial here.

Disappointed with Pricing Inconsistency.I recently visited Costa Coffee and purchased a bag of their signature blend coffee, expecting to pay the price displayed on the shelf, which was £3.95. However, when I reached the till after waiting in line, I was shocked to be charged £6.00 instead. Upon raising the issue with the cashier and showing her the shelf price, she claimed that the shelf was intended for a different product and they couldn't display the price for the coffee I purchased due to space constraints.As a consumer, I believe that the price displayed should be honored, as per trading standards laws. It was frustrating to encounter this inconsistency, especially when I tried to explain the situation and request to be charged the correct amount. Unfortunately, the cashier insisted on the higher price despite the clear discrepancy.I feel let down by Costa Coffee in this regard, as it seems that their highly trained staff should be aware of and adhere to trading standards regulations. It's disheartening to see such a lack of transparency and customer-centric approach in a reputable establishment like Costa.Overall, I left Costa Coffee feeling disappointed with the pricing inconsistency and the response I received. I hope that Costa can address this issue to ensure a fair and consistent pricing experience for all customers.* Costa coffee at Iceland for almost half the price, and better service. (£3.50)
