Another day, and yet another pharmacy. Another two actually, but the second one has yet to be reviewed, but don't worry, it'll be coming soon to a web page near you... Fleming's turned out to be rather banterful and somewhat unproductive on the purchasing front, but the situation went a little something like this: [Lynne and sister enter pharmacy, and take a look around] Pharmacist: Well, eh, I think the A Level results were out yesterday, and GCSEs are on Tuesday... Woman at till: No, are you sure it's not GCSEs out yesterday, and A Levels out on Tuesday? Lynne: Actually, the A Level results were out yesterday...this one [points at sister] can tell you! [Two ladies, plus other two sales assistants nod in recognition] The conversation turns to an enquiry upon how my sister got on, an acknowledging congratulations, and then the dreaded question... "So, did you do yours too love?" (directed at me). Darn it, I might've guessed this was going to happen. When I continued to explain that not only had I finished uni, but that the person accompanying me was actually my little sister, and not my friend, the three ladies were exceptionally surprised. Yes, I know I don't look old enough, and I know there's not much of a resemblance, but it is true. To be fair, that was the height of our visit, notably because there wasn't a whole lot to look at or buy. I was after some shampoo, but the range was very narrow. On the other hand, the chat was mighty, and we had a good chinwag for five or ten minutes, so an extra star will be rewarded with regards to that. The one thing my trip to this pharmacy had affirmed for me is that I seem to look younger every time I go out. Don't ask me how I do it...
