Accommodation was clean, warm and comfortable. Great kitchen and dining area with cereal breakfast supplied. Ann-Marie was very helpful and is well traveled herself. Felt at home. Accommodation is right next to Marine parade bus stop, local shops and bars. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the hostel in late June for 4 nights and were warmly welcomed by Anne Marie upon arrival. The room and bathroom was very clean and we had everything we needed including towels and hairdryer etc. The kitchen is fully equipped and we were also provided with a light breakfast each morning. I would definitely recommend staying with Anne Marie if you are in the area, you will feel right at home. The hostel is also on the seafront and in a fantastic location for shops, restaurants, and transport routes such as bus & ferry.

I stopped here for 9 nights on my own whilst doing a geology project for university. On my very first day, Brian took me out in his car to get me acquainted with the coastline and introduce me to a landowner at Fair Head where I would be conducting some of my work. This generous hospitality was kept up for the entire duration of my stay - I?d been expecting miles upon miles of walking but was treated to a lift on many occasions. Anne Marie even came to get me out the rain when I got caught in a particularly bad spell of weather: I don?t think you could expect better treatment than that! The hostel is clean and comfortable, and the kitchen facilities were more than adequate for me to cook meals of an evening. The atmosphere is genial and welcoming. Couldn?t recommend more!

I stayed at the Ballycastle Backpackers on the 28-29+30th of july it was fantastic I loved the place room was excellent and breakfast facilities were excellent in a lovely big modern kitchen with all breakfast cereals milk bread etc and a excellent view over the sea couldn?t have got any better will definitely be staying next year again And also Anne Maria was an excellent host she was lovely and was able to accommodate me for a third night when I?d only booked two I?d recommend it an excellent place to stay

We stayed for 4 nights and couldn?t rate it higher. The welcome and attention you receive from Ann Marie is worth all the 5 stars. This a accommodation is clean and well looked after. Lovely laid back breakfast and facilities available to cook your own evening meal. We will be back.

What can I say? Every time we visit Ballycastle we stay at Anne Marie?s. One of the nicest ladies you?d be lucky enough to meet. Place is always warm, clean & comfy. The town & beach speak for themselves. Views are breathtaking. The Guinness in the town is always top notch. Be back soon! x
