Wow, what a lovely spot, hidden Gem! Last minute decision to book a few days away. John and Val made room for us, in our Motorhome great wee pitch. What a quaint place to stay, close to local attractions with great views out to Rathlin Island and Scotland on a good day. Cosy bar with food available on certain days and times, outside seating area with a play park for children. Definitely recommend this site. Tracy & Stephen

We spent 5 nights at Glenmore, 3 childre (10/8/4) and 4 adults (parents and grandparents)
We found the the staff/owners easy to deal with when checking in and when they were around the site.
We camped close to the lake and although the gates we're locked (a blessing really with young children) the view was beautiful (when the sea fog lifted) the toilet closest to the area we were in, was clean and the sensor light worked, I would say it's clearly a work in progress! We did notice it didn't have hot water but didn't find this an issue, one recommendation - a hook on the back of the door for coats ect would be beneficial, we washed dishes at the tent and did not use the sink/washing facilities up by the caravans so can't comment. We did not use the playground as it is close to the main road with no real fence, and we didn't allow the children to wander further than we could see them at this site. We did attempt to use the showers once, but found having to continually push the button for water, after paying £1 a faff, and the water pressure wasn't up to much but that can't be helped generally in the country side!
All said and done, we really enjoyed our stay at Glenmore and the proximity to the national trust sites and Ballycastle - and on a rainy day, Ally cats soft play in Coleraine.
We would stay again in the future, and wish the owners all the best.

Camp site could do with a makeover like tidying the grass and hedges. Having said that we were there for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay.

I went for 3 days with my dad and brother. It was very good (Thanks for the Fanta and Sprite) Anyways, the view was really good. Quiet, and it?s very nice when it rains and you?re sleeping. Only thing is that my hay fever was annoying during the night but that isn?t really the site?s problem. Park was cool, service was good they gave me scrambled eggs on toast and corn flakes, because I asked for it and it was very good!! Neighbours were nice, one had a cute dog. But, even if it was such a good holiday, I missed my own bed :)

awful , no evidence of any cleaning of toilets/ showers, poor facilities , prices jacked up during the golf tournament , avoid !

I brought my 2 children up for 3 nights camping in our teepee tent, and it was a fantastic stay with amazing views ?? a real country vibe at the site and the frys at breakfast were superb. I would definitely recommend ??

It?s not the ritz but, it?s definitely not the pits!
Owners are lovely and work very hard indeed to feed, water and entertain customers.
As some previous reviews have mentioned the toilet/shower block is dated with some damaged/defective fittings and some tiles etc stored. Playpark area is okay.
Good parts: Location is really super. Pub on site is a bonus as taxis aren?t so common. From 10-10:30 on it?s a super quiet site.
Minor gripes for the price point: No water tap at the touring van pitches (so remember your barrel handle). Bring a 15m long HU lead too in. See you don?t get a pitch close to the power outlet. No barriers preventing/limiting/controlling access/egress to the site and it?s on a main road so keep an eye on your weans and make sure you have a hitchlock/wheel lock on your van. Charging touring vans £1 for an 8min shower after already paying £47/night is a little excessive IMHO. Fair enough if camping is cheap, they should pay for showers but, at the price point I think showers should be included for touring vans.

Relaxing atmosphere and very friendly and helpful owners. Never an issue and nothing is to much.

Unfortunately cannot recommend this site in its current state. Great location for all the things to do on the Causeway Coastal Route but it is overpriced (£40/night for a hardstanding electric pitch, £35 if you stay for 2 nights or more) for the facilities on offer, which were old and looked like they hadn?t been cleaned for a long time.

Booked Glenmore on a whim as a last minute camping trip, after reading other reviews were a bit skeptical. However, when we arrived John and Val greeted us, gave is the lay of the land etc, there are a few different areas to pitch your tent, we decided to pitch up the hill and boy we were not disappointed with the views ? that evening we went to the bar for a drink, John and Val were brilliant craic.. I would recommend a no frills stay here purely for the views and tranquility. We will definitely be back.
