Now this is a proper chippy. nicest cod and chips I?ve had in a long time, we were warned when we ordered that the wait time was long (about 40mins) as we hadn?t phoned ahead and it was a busy Friday night but it was absolutely worth the wait and I can see why it was so busy. The food was very disappointing, the chicken burger did not come with any salad. Sauce. I returned and ask for some. They tried to charge me an extra pound. I queried this and it was returned. I also got a chip and a feast burger. The burger was just ok. A bit greasy and cheap tasting. The chios were pale and had a soft inside.However they had a chewy texture as if they had a skin.

Went to ballycastle and made a big big mistake going to brannigans,chicken fillet burger and chip and gravy.
Wasn't a chicken fillet,it was a thin slice of chicken battered,and chips with gravy like tar,won't be back will go down to the harbour to the number one chippy

Excellent experience. Lovely hot and extremely tasty food. Portion sizes are on point and certainly won't leave you hungry. Friendly staff who are happy to help. The chicken chunks rock and for today's prices are good value.

What a mixed bag sadly.
Service was friendly and attentive.
The good - chips were very good & best in the town. The battered sausages were very tasty and good quality.
The bad - the chicken fillet burger was as bad as I have tasted. It tasted like something out of the freezer. The tomato relish was poor quality. The small chip for the price is too small.
Start making your own chicken fillet burgers and get in some Bicks tomato relish and this place could be a 5.
Good parking to the front.

Ordered chicken goujons with garlic dip and chips which were so so tasty and delicious. Staff very efficient and friendly
