Stayed here Friday the 3rd of March, a party of 3 x adult family members. Pros; Pleasant room, comfy beds, convenient plugs, excellent shower, Netflix/Prime, WiFi, central location. Cons; Terrible stench from the drains in the bathroom; Dark stain on one of the single quilts; dust on ledges, previous guest's sock in the bed, no wine or bottled water in the rooms (as was stated on the list of facilties), and, unfortunately, the 'sound-proofing' doesn't prevent noise from other guests. The worst thing, however, was breakfast. I'd informed McNaughtons we'd need one vegan breakfast WEEKS before. We knew that was going to be taken in a cafe around the corner which feels odd but isn't a huge issue. While the 'full' breakfast was adequate, it was by no means a full Irish breakfast but the main problem was there were NO vegetarian nor vegan options. We were informed at Cafe Cova that all food was cooked in the same fat so none of the 'vegetarian' or potentially vegan elements from the breakfasts were edible to my niece. Staff at the cafe either would not or could not cook any food separately so my niece was given dry brown toast with butter pats she cannot eat on the side and a ramekin of baked beans, presumably microwaved. We are disgusted that this simple issue could easily have been addressed and was not. We had upgraded from a triple room to a quadruple so we'd have separate beds. This meant we'd paid for four full cooked breakfasts. I find it appalling in 2023 that not even ONE vegan breakfast could be provided for a paying customer (in place of two) given advance notice. It seems McNaughtons and Cafe Cova elected to risk negative reviews rather than lose a booking.

Recently stayed at the guestrooms for 2 nights with my partner Rooms were spotless, modern and access was great with the code system Staff were very friendly/accommodating and serve a great pint downstairs! Will certainly stay again next time we're up the coast for a weekend!

The reviews which encouraged me to book are not accurate. Charming it is not. No mention that you get into property through a door off the main street, and you need a code to gain access. Noone there to give us a code to gain access, so we left and told owner we were doing that. But charged us anyway and no refund!!

We only stayed one night, but it was excellent. We arrived early, and they accommodated us immediately; they had super friendly staff, and the rooms have been recently updated to luxurious quality. This was a valuable stay for our family. The pub below was also a great stop. We chatted with the owner, and some regulars were warm and friendly. Being NJ natives, we loved the back bar and all the Bruce Springsteen photos!!

Used to be a great place for pizza. They were fresh and unique. Now they are just the same as a horrible greasy take away, covered in cheese and greasy real shame.

Well decorated and clean rooms. Good AirB&B style accomodation, so no nosy owners. Great bar downstairs and handy for others. Nice arrangement with Cafe Cova for brekkie with good choice and quality of food. Cushendall perfect for walks, fishing and of course, hurling. The Lurig is ideal for a good pint of Guinness and a game of pool. Most of their regulars are nice people.

By the looks of the rooms they have been recently renovated, and to a very high standard as well. A very comfortable nights sleep was had by us all, breakfast is served via a voucher left in the room which you hand in at the local cafe round the corner. A definite recommend if you're looking to stay in Cushendall, and hopefully we'll return one day and head back to here.

Beautifully decorated, everything brand new, cleanliness first class. Needed assistance when my hubby tripped on stairs and immediate help from staff in the bar. Keep up the good work. Little different going to cafe round the corner for breakfast, food first class.
