Best shop in town and then got the self service checkouts. I have been in loads of tone since and fights starting all the time as all upset due to line not scanning, weight scans, checking if age etc. The difference between this and Tesco is that there is enough people monitoring this. In Lidl one lovely person is looking after 12 or 14 tills. I will not be back.

Literally a maze. Impossible to get out. theft prevention gone completely mad. Just close down if this location is resulting in such a loss in profit.

To the exception of one manned till, all others have been changed to self-service ones. Only few employees are around to help.

Incredibly busy shop. Only proper supermarket in town and taking the piss with their monopoly. Fridges spilling out water for nearly two weeks. Place is filthy, floors are wet throughout store as a result. Long queues with new self serve tills that aren't all open and are unreasonably difficult to use. Staff are all nice. Whatever middle or higher management are doing at the moment is an absolute omnishambles!! Please sort it out!! There is demand for a full other store in the city centre!

Good size for pretty anything you might typically need. Helpful staff. NOTE: If. You have a LIDL card from outside of Northern Ireland, it won't work here, you'll need to change your location in the app first, or ask the staff to use their own card to help you out. Do this before you start scanning your stuff.

Came in to do my shopping as always. Now they have installed selfscan that only accept card...1 till for people paying with card about 20 people in que mostly elderly..totally disgrace after 10 mins I put my shopping back and left ..will not be back

I suggest all customers start bringing cash only and ask to see the manager every time until proper manned tills are brought back.
I used to shop here regularly, but after yesterday, I won?t be back. Most of the staffed tills are gone, replaced by self-checkouts, and the few that remain are tiny ? like something you?d find in a corner shop, not a supermarket. If you?ve got a trolley full of shopping, you?re screwed.
I waited to be served by a person and was met with attitude just because I refused to use a self-checkout. I don?t care if I?m paying with card or cash ? I?m not using those machines.
Other stores still offer both options. This store has chosen to prioritise machines over service, and it shows. Then A manager was cheeky to a member of staff that was transferring closer to home in-front of costumers because she was going to slow. But the real story was because no staff had head gear on they had to leave tills to check prices etc because there was no form of communication.. poor management not staff.

New till system is a nightmare when U pay cash. 1 cashier for a queue of 14 people. Been waiting already over 15 min to buy 2 buns.

Used to do all my grocery shopping here until today. They only have self scan there now, which is quite a nightmare if you buy more than 2-3 items.
I could not pack the items in my own bag after scanning because they need to be put on a weighing tray that just gave error messages when I tried to use my bag. I had to build a little tower with my groceries to fit everything on the weighing tray so it wouldn't slide down. Then, after paying I could pack my bag. This whole process is so much more time consuming for me than is necessary. It took 3 times as long as previously. I also missed the interaction with the cashier. The employee working at the self check out had to be responsive to more than 6 customers at a time. This must be riddiciulously stressful. Seems to be a loose-loose for customers and employees.
Let me know when you bring the regular tills back. Until then I'll do my groceries somewhere else.

Incredible!! Americans wake TF up! We?re paying 3-4x as much for worse food. Just filled these bags for 50$ and fantastic quality lots of high protein REAL food. God bless Trump and RFK jr but they need help to get us on par with Belfast ?
