We have been a few times as our friends live near by. Service is always attentive, food is always amazing and the place is always buzzing which gives it a great atmosphere. Not to forget it's very clean. Only one negative is that it's too far away for us to visit more regularly

Table of 8 for birthday celebration.
We had selection of small plates to start, all were delicious.
Various main courses, large portions, burgers, curry, liver and a pie. All really nice.
The tuna starter, which was used as a main was very over seasoned as the pepper over powered the fish.
Overall a lovely relaxed evening.
Forgot to photo mains but did a couple of desserts.

My favourite country village pub. I like to come here on special occasions and have never been let down. Had a couple of meals recently sitting outside on warm summer evenings. Lovely menu. The fish and chips and the burger and chips were brilliant. Five stars from me. Great service too.

Visited for the first time with friends as it was a half way point.
We were very impressed with the menu, the food was delicious and presented beautifully. The waitress was happy to tweak the orders slightly and was very knowledgeable.
The pub has a very nice ambience and I would happily visit again.
The only issue is the limited parking and the pizza van stopped taking orders at around 8 but I'm sticking to 5 stars as everything else was fab!

Fathers day celebration, as always the Rose & Crown and their staff delivered. Big plus is they are genuine dog friendly pub/restaurant, our dog is always made very welcome ?
