The Wellingborough store is very unreliable at stocking magazines I buy every month/week, which is ridiculous since magazines are one of their primary stocks. One of the staff told me they only get one copy of a certain magazine I look for regularly and that there is another customer that comes in and buys it as well.Well, duh - surely order two copies so that me and this other customer aren't gambling on getting the magazine or not every week?I suspect the staff don't have any control over what they stock so they have no way to cater to local customers.I've mostly given up on them now, and instead go to "Magazine Heaven" in Rushden Lakes, who always stock what I'm after and often discount them as well, which I've never seen WHSmith do.3 * given because the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The store itself okay but last few times been in town closed suddenly during regular working hours in the day with a paper notice written in pen saying sorry we have had to close.

I Went in to look for a certain book I wanted To Get But It Was Not On The Shelf So I Asked One Of The Staff Members And They Looked It Up On Their Computers And They Said It Must Be Only Online. I Felt A Bit Disappointing. The Store It Self Is A Bit Outdated And Needs Modernising also I noticed That This Store Doesn't Sell Many Big Releases Books. It Just Seems You Only Sell Most Of The Online.

This is a small size store and only offers a limited range. It is situated in the Swansgate centre so is in a good location and easy to get to. They have a selection of books, magazines, dvds, CDS, cards and stationary available. The tills always seem to be busy when i have visited the store and it is often hard to get a member of staffs help in the store, but when i have got some body to help me they have always been happy and willing to help. The store is always tidy and the shelves well stocked, it is not to tight for push chaires etc. Overall is a good store if they have the products available that you require.

Situated in the Swansgate centre in Wellingborough so it is easy to get to. It is a medium sized store only on one floor but they sell all the usual WH Smith items including top title books, magazines, cards, stationery and chart CDs and DVDs. I think it is the only place in the Swansgate Centre that sells magazines so it is the first place I would look, but i do find that the range of greetings cards is limited and much more expensive than other stores nearby such as the Card warehouse. They often have good offers on the chart title books, such as 2 for £20 on hardbacks or 3 for 2 on paperbacks. It is a tidy store and the staff are friendly. There is sometimes a bit of a queue at the tills though as both tills are not always open.
