This is a lovely little cafe which is extremely reasonable with a large menu. It's a great choice of food and everytime I've been the food has been really nice and well cooked. They do prefer cash but will happily take card payments too. Always a treat to visit the Pumphouse.

Proper cafe, run by proper cafe people, doing proper cafe stuff, in a great venue, at a sound price. Really feels like they're doing it for the punters, not just for themselves. Wish I'd found it earlier. A great place to enjoy great catering. Superb.

Ordered a bacon roll and a coffee. got my roll no coffee then as woman was serving my friend his breakfast woman decided to lean on my food.this cafe is a hygiene risk with under aged staff that have no cleaning skills.

We had an early breakfast after attending the doctors , it was open at 8:30 and the food and service was good. Price for the breakfast included a drink which was most welcome. Food was cooked nicely and the lady who took our order got it absolutely spot on as we can be quite particular about our toast butter and milk lol... Well worth a visit and we will be going back. Parking is plentiful and free!!

Pretty poor service. Servers where run ragged.
Dirty plates in nearly every table.
Floor was sticky.
Tables and chairs dirty.
Food was as expected when you're eating in such a dirty place, greasy low quality rubbish.

An anonymous Google Food review, we " Used" to be regular customers but today will be our last day ever visiting. We went to the counter and ordered our usual meal, the lady on the counter came across very rude, from walking to the table from the counter our feet/shoes were sticky from the wooden floor, as we were waiting for our breakfast to come out, we had a visual look around the restaurant, my daughter noticed that the wall behind me was literally covered in greasy finger prints, I looked at the floor and it was covered In stuck in dirt. My wife looked at the ceiling and the air conditioning unit was covered in dust, didn't look very hygienic. Our food arrived at the table, the old woman almost dropped the meal on my wife looked at the table and said look free beans with no apology, she noticed that we didn't have any drinks and was told just to help ourselves, looking at the meal looked quite appealing until we all ate the mushrooms first which left a pool of mushroom oil fat on the plate which made us all quite queasy by looking at it, the bacon was really over cooked and dry, with a traditional breakfast you normally have toast with it, 5 minutes after the breakfast was served 3 slices of bread came over, uncut and buttered ( cheap bread ) the hashbrowns was the only saviour on the entire plate, going back a year Pumphouse Cafe was known for Eating Challenges for the likes of Beard Meets food etc, I really don't know what's happened in a year it's as though they have given up !!! It's lost it's charm, when you walked in the place was buzzing, today when we walked in we seen dirt everywhere and that was before the food came out, we quickly ate our food and on the way out I walked past this couple and I said to them that my shoes are sticking to the floor to there reply .....
" yes it's gone really down hill "
Today I'm giving a low ball 1/10 the customer service was poor, the food was not nice and gave us all an unpleasant taste in our mouths to the point where we went out for coffee just to get the taste out of our mouths.
This will be our last day going to PumpHouse cafe in Wellingborough sad times an end of an era for a once awesome cafe.

A group of 18 of us booked for a Wednesday lunchtime... our second time there. We were well looked after & the food was great.
Vegetarian options: A few choices for veggies, more than some restaurants I've been to!
Parking: Popular location so car park can be quite busy...
