Unfortunately I had a very negative experience when tried to collect my parcel from this shop. A man behind the till put me through too many difficulties to get it. It was a birthday present for my mistress. First when arriving at this store the man told me that I need an id in order to collect my parcel, which I was never asked before and later on a courier company advised me that in fact I do not need an I'd for this. So I went home and picked up my id and returned to the shop, where this time I was advised by the same man that my parcel is not there. The next day I raised it with the carrier and they assured me that it must be there and said thet they will contact the shop on my behalf. They contacted the shop and came back to me that the man has told them that he is too busy and he can not look into this right now, so I went back to the shop but this time I had a representative from the courier company on the loudspeaker on my phone, I walked in and made the man aware of who I was on the phone with and 3 seconds later he passes me the parcel, this time not asking for any id and says that it came in just now, although the courier company assured me that it has been at the store for 6 days already.I still can not understand what happened there but if I could - I would leave 0 stars on this review and fo the service provided.I must thank the courier company for helping to resolve this.

Friendly village shop that has a little of everything. Fresh baked goods in the mornings, hand made coffees, post office, local produce and dairy. Always manage to find a space to park unless it's time for the school run.

what can i say about stanwick post office, i have used them now for many years, and this charming little postoffice has to be one of the best in the area, the staff are always friendly and polite and can never do enough to help, they also have a small store handy for the odd item which you may have forgotten from your main shopping, there is a little parking outside and cafe area when the weather permits.they also have a good selection of magazines, not hard to find it is on the main road through stanwick opposite the church.

This sub post office is part of the wonderful Shop@stanwick. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful and they offer a fantastic service to the community. They are always willing to help you find the best/cheapest way to deliver packages and they have good opening hours.
