I never complain but unfortunately I should have done. This was the worst pub meal I have ever had. The vegetable curry was not what it said it was. It was mainly sauce, with unidentifiable crunchy things in it. No vegetables, just green beans. Everywhere was sticky and smelled of toilets. Sorry to have to give such a negative review.

Accommodation was lovely, everything was clean. We stayed on the hottest day and the fans in the room where not great. Food was cooked really well and service was good. Not much atmosphere early morning for breakfast. Wasn't around to experience the evening atmosphere.

Food was very average breakfast was meant to have black pudding there wasn't bacon looked grey and not very appealing. The place stinks of cigarette smoke the staff were all standing around or sitting on there phones as if they didn't want to be there the bedroom was ok but needs a bit of a refresh paint coming off walls in bathroom. Definitely won't be back or recommending it to anyone . The smell of smoke at the entrance to bedrooms and stair well were very off putting then the smell of smoke when having breakfast was very off putting and unpleasant.

Upon entering the first thing we saw was the supervisor/manager on shift was talking to a waitress but was extremely rude which wasn't a nice to see straight away and then the bar tender was not exactly approachable it felt that we were an annoyance to them just for ordering a drink and then when they gave me the wrong drink it felt like it was my fault they poured the wrong drink and the bar tender even gave us funny looks while serving us. This used to be a nice place for a drink but i wouldn't return now if this is what it will be like

Ordered the meatball baguette and chips and guiness.
Baguette was cold and chewy , sauce was cold and meat balls mildly warm, had about 5 chips that have been over fried and pint of guiness taste like it was out of a can....
Wouldn't recommend and wont return 4/10.

Booked a table for 6 for my daughters birthday and the service and food was absolutely fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would highly recommend this place to anyone.
