Very unhelpful staff who would not see me despite being only 5 mins late due to bad weather. I was told that I was over 10 mins late so they refused to see me; even though I could see from the clock that I was clearly not over the time. Very poor customer service and would not suggest going here when there are plenty of independent stores around that are not this petty.

I'm not one review anything as a one star, but this has genuinely upset me. My husband had his appointment today at 2:50, due to the rain/road closure we were delayed by 5 minutes. We arrive at 2:55, talk to reception making this 2:56 and once the person performing my husband's appointment comes out it is 2:59. They then tell us that my husband is more than 10 minutes late to his appointment and that that they can no longer see him today (not more than 10 minutes by any means). They also took in the person who was to have their appointment after my husband's, therefore would they not have just traded spaces? We wasted time and fuel to make this appointment. Will not be returning.

I have been to a different Specsavers and felt like I was in a cattle market, always having to go back to get glasses adjusted as varifocal never in the right place for me . I was advised that Towcester is so relaxed and staff helpful. Appt was made and entering the shop a lovely welcome sign greets you, I felt relaxed, all staff were helpful. Everything explained to me. I did not feel rushed and everything was sorted at my pace. I will certainly being going back when I need new glasses. Del and Emma made the process very easy. I have my new glasses now and everything is how I like my glasses to be including the varifocals.

Well trained and friendly staff. New glasses were delivered as promised and are absolutely ideal and over £200 cheaper than the local independent optician I used to go to.

What a lovely bunch you all are at Towcester! Daljit the optician was professional but friendly and felt totally at ease with him. The ladies (sorry i didn?t get your names) were an absolute hoot, i?ve never had such a fun trip to the optician! Think it was Stefano who i met first of all, again lovely and professional. Fab team you have at Towcester branch. Thank you guys and gals - I will be back!!

Very efficient. Appointments available next day. Pleasant, professional staff. Excellent customer service. Been with Specsavers 5 years after previous optician went private. Specsavers are less than half the cost.
