“I've lived in this village for over 30 years and I've seen them all come and go. Only one other set of owners have been any good and the rest mediocre at best. But the current couple are in a league of their own. The shop is efficient- well stocked, spotlessly clean and the prices are comparable to supermarkets- and so cheaper as you don't have to drive anywhere. The Post Office is equally efficient and they actually know what they're doing, which is a real rarity for any PO these days. They're also really nice people too and dare I suggest this is the best village shop in the Country? No, I don't need to- we can all see it is.”

“I am usually greeted by 1 of 3 ladies here - all of whom have always been very helpful and friendly. From missing parcels to currency exchange to current account deposits, I have been satisfied by the services provided - and there are a wide range of them that can be fulfilled at this branch! No question is a silly one, and I have been given appropriate advice, ensuring I have things posted the way it suits me. It's a small branch and I have almost always had to queue but the staff are sympathetic to this”

Admittedly, I mainly use the post office services but have often picked up a few essentials while I'm in there to save me venturing to the bigger supermarkets.That someone can judge another because of a speech impediment says a lot more about them, in my opinion.”
