Curry sauce and Chips £4.50. Tiny serving. Served my chips into the tray and asked if I wanted Salt n' vinegar. I said, Salt. Then lad proceeded to do other things and chores, eventually returning to me to ask if I wanted Salt n' vinegar.Then poured curry sauce over chips without offering the option of a tub.
Not the nicest chips.
The poor bloke before me wanted Hamburger and chips but they didn't have any in stock.

Not impressed after using this chippy tonight, waited over half an hour to be served sausage and chips. I asked for 2 large sausages because there was no pies left at 6:40 on a Friday night and was served one large and 1 small, the large portion of chips was quite laughable actually and the chips were so dry, will not be returning. Also thought the way the the man cooking was talking to the clearly new member of staff didn?t make it a very nice atmosphere at all

BEST!! Fish chip?s and curry sauce I?ve ever had in my 25 years of being on this earth, fish batter is absolutely crazy hardly any oil one bite and it dissolved in your mouth, To bad I?m from out of town otherwise I?ll be outside begging for change because I?ve spend my life earnings on this chippy.

They have cod roe on the menu, four times over several years I've requested it but it's always off the menu. We settled on a battered sausage and chips and a fish and chips, with a pot of gravy. The chips are fine, but not great. Fish was more batter than fish but was fresh. I imagine the sausage was great when it was freshly cooked, but that was some considerable time before I bought it. Gravy had the consistency of a cup of tea and little flavour beyond being salty. Overall disappointing.

I've just been served the worst portion of fish & chips I've ever encountered. A sorry looking overcooked sliver of haddock and barely edible dried out chips, clearly cooked a while before and re-heated, that were more like eating chunks of cardboard. All for the price of £10 with a can of coke. Not impressed.

Excellent chippy. I was stopping at a near by hotel and stretched my legs looking for some food. Dropped in here and sat down at a table. Bit dear £14 for fish, chips, beans and a can. But I don?t mind paying more for good food. It was fantastic!! The service was excellent too. Will definitely be back next time I?m in the area.

I can honestly say that pisces are the best fish and chips for miles around.
I thoroughly enjoyed them . The fish and chips were perfectly cooked .

Staying in Thrapston for a family event. Had spent 7 hours driving up from Devon and just wanted to eat before flopping into the hotel bed. Food was excellent and service quick and friendly. Highly recommend

If I could give them no stars, I would.30 quid for a delivery of fish and chip etc and they turn up 30 mins late with cold reheated chips. Since this place has been taken over, it's gone down hill.We have given this chip shop plenty of chances but tonight is the final straw.I will never use this place again.I would advise anyone thinking of getting fish and chips to use Ben's, its now under new management and it was mobbed tonight.Steer clear of this place unless you want cold reheated chips and a late delivery.Truly pathetic
