BED BUGS. Room 21 l lasted about 4 hours in an unpleasant smelling room before being awoken by the burning itching sensation as a result of, what I presume to be a bed bug infestation . We could not wait to leave immediately thereafter and will be seeking suitable redress once I?ve calmed down and informed the Travelodge customer service team. I won?t add any of the photos taken of my torso but suffice to say it was pretty shocking!

Very friendly service! Basic room (standard travelodge), perfect location for the lakes! Plenty of options near by for a great breakfast, shopping and a stroll round the lakes.

I booked breakfast with my room, which was a Breakfast box. Collection from reception. It Consisted of 200ml bottle of water, flapjack, Pain au chocolate, corn flakes with milk and a spoon.
Lovely staff, I had no issues. I ordered dinner to the reception from the local restaurants a short walk away.
Pillows were very comfy.

Probably the friendliest receptionist I?ve ever seen in a travelodge. Location not great but it?s cheap and clean

Very big room, clean tidy, simple!. No thrill's here. Staff was friendly and very helpful when we asked for extra tea and milk. We we're on the ground floor, so ,Little bit noisy from those who might be above you walking about ?.Great location to the shops and lakes 5 -10 minutes walk.

Our family room was spacious with comfy beds and quality bed linens and towels. We were situated at the rear which was quiet and peaceful. The view was of tree tops and lush greenery.
Unfortunately opening our windows was an invitation for mosquitos to join us.
On phoning reception we were told we shouldn't have opened our windows - not helpful ! Perhaps they should put a warning sign to alert guests to this problem. On asking for a room mosquito repellant we were offered a regular fly spray and told 'this is a Travel Lodge, what do you expect?'
They did offer to change rooms but the new one also had the same problem.
Situated close to the beautiful lake and wetlands it should not have come as a surprise but we were not equipped and didn't expect this.
Fortunately they were not the biting kind and we did sleep well.
Good value hotel and very well situated with many restaurants and shops in close walking distance.

Stayed upstairs in a room facing trees.
Nice from that point of view.
First time trying Travelodge in many years.
Basic room with everything that was needed. Very comfortable bed, I slept well.
Friendly staff.
A few minutes walk to shopping centre, restaurants, cinema etc via an unofficial cut through, but as a woman I don't think I'd use the cut-through after dark. Area around the Travelodge itself very run down, builders rubble in car park, old diner next door shuttered up.
Negatives: Spiders on ceiling, windows not cleaned -cobwebs etc and many mosquitoes in room - killed about 20 before I could sleep. Please fit fly screens!!

Perfect for basic stay.
By Travelodge standards, it was 5 star.
Beds were comfy. Had everything we needed. Hot shower/bath. TV with a few channels. Great location (free oarking, couple minutes to big shopping complex).
Already looking at returning.

Checked in on Sunday 16th March . Plenty of free parking. My room was ready . It was clean , warm , what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Everything worked ok. Electrical equipment and plumbing.
I must say the man on the reception called John Wilson was very helpful in advising me about local places of interest. And good nearby eateries.
I must ad that my room was very quiet. And the heater worked very well.

Accidentally booked the wrong night. Was given the phone number to call by the lovely lady on reception and of course had to pay the difference for the non-saver night room but it was an easy and very helpful process.
The place has just been refurbed so it?s incredible value for money.
A 5 min walk through the car park is a retail park with a cinema, numerous shops and brilliant restaurants.
Would stay again ?

Nice rooms, John was a nice lad. Too bad he didn?t have his name badge on. Had to keep asking for his name. He?s gonna get a bollocking from his manager apparently.
