We eat here quite often because it fits our family budget. Tonight, Sunday 17th August, we met at 6pm and both food and service were extra special. The service from Eleanor was brilliant and it was a pleasure to watch her serving everyone very efficiently and with a cheerful smile. We didn?t get the chef?s name but thanked him personally as everyone?s food was really well prepared. Thank you.

I came into the pub with some friends to eat, we ordered a brisket burger with no cheese that came with cheese blatantly pulled out so we asked for it to be sent back, my friend had then ordered the same burger and to our surprise it was the very first burger that was sent back originally, now more burnt. this is absolutely disgusting and what makes it worse is overhearing from staff on shift that the head chef is in the kitchen. This is so unprofessional and surely breaks hygiene rules. Will not be coming back.

Bar staff seemed uninterested in their customers waiting didn't get our side orders of food added on .small portions used to get bigger burgers and extras on the side like coleslaw...food and service gone down hill from pre covid days one lady collecting glasses etc ..Not great we dont even go regular so seeing a big decline in the pub .

We were in this spoons for breakfast this morning, the young waiter was not coping at all on his own, it as busy and the busier it got the slower he went! My breakfast was still hot but the beans and the egg had congealed, not always the best spoons but staff need to be up to the job.
