Visited today to make some purchases and return a faulty item. The manager (Katie) insisted I needed a receipt when I explained for faulty items this isn't the case. I went away and confirmed this to be the case as per Primark's return policy and got my refund without any acknowledgement or apology. I appreciate it was a busy day and mistakes happen but this doesn't represent good customer service.

Store is v good, kept tidy, lots of stock, good staff, but star ? of the show is the happy, friendly security guard ? proof that you can still smile even if your job is serious ? great pr for the store!

Overall, really love this primark. I have gone multiple times without any issues, last time I went i had a cashier who was extremely rude I went to the counter and said hello and I was ignored and was glared at up and down, then when I payed with a £20 note he was flipping it around twisting it around, i was beginning to think why is he using my note as a stress toy and then he made a massive cam-motion and got his manager to check if it was real, she then took her time and finally pronounced it to be an old note, waisting over 10 minutes of my time, all I was trying to buy was a tracksuit. I get you need checks in 2025, but the rudeness and how you didn?t apologise for doubting me made me feel conscious and discriminated.
