This is the only Clarks store near me. I've always been treated with kindness and respect there. The store is clean, and the staff are always nice and helpful.

End of holiday season. Daughter needed new shoes because of toes rubbing, had just spent £40 on shoes at the start of term, lasted only 4 months.
She extra sensitive on her feet she often has large trainer, shoes sizes, prefers it.
Staff member was helpful, however we request half a size up, her customer service cup was empty and she was moody, borderline rude and quiet, and state the shoes would rub on my daughter feet, and seemed personally offended that we wanted a slightly larger size. I had to explain why we wanted a size up, don?t think we should have to justify this. She also state there were no shoes available in the half size up we wanted, but on checking there was.
Getting shoes is a simple process, I worked in shoe retail the interaction was unnecessary tense and unpleasant. My daughter is very happy and comfortable in her shoes. Not sure if they are encouraged to discourage parent from buy a size up? We have had to buy 3 pairs of shoes a year, which I have had to do multiple times with my eldest.

Disheartened and deeply disappointed are the only words I can use to express my experience at this Clarks outlet. While this is not a reflection on Clarks as a whole, the conduct of the staff at this particular store is troubling.
I visited the store during the school holidays to buy a pair of shoes, dressed in modest office attire. I was served by a staff member named Farham, who made me uncomfortable with his overly flirty behaviour. Despite showing him my wedding ring to make it clear that his advances were unwelcome, his behaviour persisted.
I tried to hurry through the transaction, but as he walked past me, I distinctly felt what seemed to be his hand brushing against me. Feeling embarrassed and upset, I left the store without completing my purchase.
When I had composed myself, I called the store to speak with the manager, Nichola, hoping for support. To my dismay, instead of addressing the issue, I was asked if I had done anything to provoke the behaviour. This response left me feeling even more disillusioned.
I can only warn others, especially women, to be cautious if visiting this outlet, whether as a customer or a potential employee.

Went here on Saturday afternoon. looking to get some shoes for me and my wife. noticed two staff members looking at us, one whispered to the other and started laughing. Poor

Suprisingly bad customer service. Returned my 10 year old daughters school shoes (size 4H) that had split after 4 months, and heard "well if thats the route you want to take". Returned 20 mins later with my mobile (and proof of purchase) to hear "sadly our shoe size has changed, so we can only offer 15% discount" (to 3.5H thats half a size smaller !!). Followed by "we've rung it up now, and entered the discount". Bought cheaper and better in M&S with no customer service. Maybe Clarks could use ... a vending machine!
