I?ve heard that it?s not the shop staff who decide on the product range, which is why I?m leaving this information in a Google review to get attention of management. . Spar does not treat fairly those who enjoy the taste of beer but don?t want to consume alcohol. There is practically no choice of non-alcoholic wines or beers, and only during my last visit to the store, both I and another customer (a pregnant woman who wanted to have some non-alcoholic wine) were looking for such drinks. Could someone finally address this gap in the assortment and give us a wider choice of beverages than just H or C?

Bought some cigarettes from this place today pretty sure they are fake. I?ve been coughing on every puff and it feels like it?s cutting my lungs. The box looked very suspicious as well.

Usually spar is quite an easy going place but I?ve gone in with my service dog today (in my arms) and they refused to serve me all I wanted was a bottle of water on a hot day I said I?d be in and out within 30 seconds or less and the two laddies refused me service even after I explained to them what type of service dog he was(for epilepsy) they still said no, I genuinely think this is wrong! one of the ladies said they only allow service dogs for the blind, this needs to be changed as there are more dogs in service then just for the blind!

Pretty decent shop, plenty of deals, and good prices. Sells pretty much everything you need. Also has a Greggs inside and cash point outside aswell.

Great store, always clean and tidy, helpful friendly staff! Good range for such a small store, plus a Greg's with Vegan sausage rolls, awesome!! Would definitely recommend

an ok corner shop better now it has a greggs, but the manager in it is kinda rude.

Updated Dec 2017. Now has a Greggs sandwich bar in store with a good range. Reasonable range of expensive groceries. Small freezer section. Small chilled section. Alcohol and tobacco. Fee free ATM outside on the right of the entrance. Free parking for 4 cars outside the store.
