We absolutely love the Tap and Kitchen. The food is gorgeous and very reasonably priced. The fact that it has a great selection of gluten-free and vegan options makes going for a family meal so much more enjoyable for my daughter and grandaughter. Today, four of us had the Sunday roast, and it was delicious as were all the meals we had. We had a window table, and it was so nice to look out at the river and watch the ducks while eating. The staff are all so friendly and helpful giving advice when asked about the items on the menu and the selection of drinks.

Nice location. Tried a beer that was recommended by the barman and he was spot on with what I would like . Definitely recommend if you're into your Ales and beers. .

Massively expensive, 2 glasses of white wine £24, I could have bought 4/5 bottle in Tesco, maybe that's why so many places are closing.

Lovely place to eat. We went on a warm summers evening and they had opened the doors to the wharf and we sat right beside the water which was very beautiful. The food was excellent we all had the Hereford steak and it didn?t disappoint. Service was relaxed but attentive and the staff were friendly. Not the cheapest but good value given the quality. Highly recommended.

Just visited for Father's Day lunch. The food was excellent & we loved sitting indoors but by the river plus our dog was well looked after. However we were told at least 8 times that the table was needed back by a certain time and there was a sign on the table too. After our delicious mains noone came to take away our plates & take our dessert order. After 15 minutes we asked a waitress who went to get menus & didn't return. We asked another waitress - again noone came. We then ordered desserts at the bar half an hour after we finished our mains. These had just arrived at our table when another waitress came & told us we needed to finish & leave immediately the table was needed! Obviously not best pleased - if the service had been more efficient we wouldn't have been in that situation.

I only stopped for a drink after a dog walk. I can commend the very helpful and friendly member of staff who assisted me with my dog. Quite quiet, mid afternoon wirh plenty of in and outside seating. Lovely position by the river.
