Rang up at 0080 (21st) in the queue. Spoke to receptionist within 5 mins. Got an appointment with Doctor at 0840 same day. Very good.

I?ve had very responsive and professional service from the team at Oundle Medical Practice the two times that I?ve dealt with them in the past couple of months. There are phone queues first thing in the morning, but if you can register online for their Anima service, you can report your symptoms without having to wait.

In many cases I think we sometimes expect a poor response when we try to contact our GP practice. I have had an exemplary response and kindness from Oundle Medical Practice when seeking help from the practice for an arthritic condition. Dr. Morgan with advise from my blood results and Dr Lijesen who has been outstanding formulating a treatment plan, sorting out several hospital appointments and even calling me back at NINE o'clock at night to give me an update! How many GP's would do that?

My appointment was cancelled because I was waiting in reception for 10 minutes to log in to say I had arrived, and no one was there! The screen wouldn?t log me in either? Having rang the bell three times no one came, then when someone finally did come out she told me the doctor marked me as absent and it was my fault for not making someone aware I was there. How are people meant to make someone aware they are there for their appointment when no staff are around to talk to and when you try to call your number 30 in the queue. To say how unprofessional this receptionist was and how rude she was is an understatement.

At at time when the NHS is badly under-resourced and under the most intense pressure, the care, patience and service I received from the practice today has been exemplary. Dr Brennan could not have been nicer and went 'the extra mile' to ensure that I received the care I needed. Much appreciated.

Though I have had previous issues with Lakeside some time ago, today I was given excellent service. An almost immediate call back from Dr Brennan. A very informative and helpful consultation. I was very happy and impressed with how I was treated today. Like a human and not an inconvenience.

I received a text message from my GP asking to make an appointment for a blood test. I waited an hour on the phone to get through only to be told I have to go to Corby hospital for a blood test. I explained to the receptionist that I don't drive and it takes s me an hour to get to Corby and an hour to get back for a 5 minute blood test. The surgery always did offer their patients a blood test. I have been a patient with the surgery for 30 years and the service has just hit rock bottom. The receptionist I spoke to couldn't care less. A very sad state of affairs.

The practice stopped offering blood tests when one was due, then refused to represcribe medication based on now missing blood tests.
