Delightful staff and atmosphere round large table outside that seated all 8 of us! Saturday lunchtime so service was understandably slow. Food was good although 2 arrived flat cold and one was heated up..returned not much different.

Nice ambiance and aura to this place. Centrally located in scenic Oundle. We decided to have pub food with fish and chips, which were good. Regretably, the burgers were probably more appealing as the local butcher provides the meat. Our server was polite and pleasant.

I had an awesome meal here as always, I tried the Mediterranean platter on this occasion and wasn't disappointed. I had a couple of requests to suit my palate and the chef didn't disappoint.
The service was on point, Lizzie was very helpful, had great customer service and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.
All in all a great dining experience, highly recommend and I'll be visiting again soon.

Had a perfect dinner! Cocktail Aperol was absolutely amazing. Steaks were so soft and tasty, were amazed by peppercorn and blue cheese sauces. Very friendly staff, who served us literally in 10 minutes, despite the fact that the restaurant was quite busy. Definitely 5 starts and we definitely will come back !

1st visit last weekend, just called in for a coffee, sat out in the lovely courtyard, service great. Was so impressed I booked lunch for 2 today, sunny & warm so able to sit & eat in the courtyard. Service totally spot on, friendly staff. Food (from the lunch/light menu) was lovely, served quickly and great value. Everything immaculately clean (sparkling glasses ?) very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely be going again soon and highly recommend. Dog friendly in courtyard with water bowl available. Thank you to all at Dexter's ?

Whenever I have been at dexters the service has always been so good. Such lovely and kind staff there as well. I usually go there for breakfast but have been for lunch a few times also and never been disappointed. Most definitely my fav place to go to in oundle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
