Had food from here a couple of times and it's been a disappointment both times. I worked in a fish and chip shop many years ago for 8 years so maybe I have high standards compared to the good reviews on here ?. It gets busy but probably because it is the only fish and chip shop around here for miles. Won't be going back, will have to travel further unfortunately!

Have used this fish and chip shop a few times now and can honestly say that the food is excellent, non greasy and very tasty. Would definitely recommend this chip shop service is also first class with generous portions at a great price

I have a monthly ride out on my bike to visit the Blue Marlin ... the best chips for miles around, and worth the 40 mile trip. It's just a chip shop - but it is excellent !

Lovely proper chip shop (not a kebab shop). All of the fish is freshly cooked to order and is absolutely delicious. Having grown up in a seaside town, I?m used to very high quality fish and chips and this exceeds my standard.The large cod and large chips is big enough for two to share.The staff are lovely and remember your orders/how you like things.

We had cod, battered sausage, chips and mushy peas? everything was absolutely delicious - the kind gentlemen working also gave me a sausage for my dog! I wish I lived nearer - YUM!
