Called in here for a £4:60 milkshake.
You would have thought at this price point you would get a decent milkshake- it?s difficult to go wrong making a milkshake?..but I have to concede the strawberry ice cream used tastes like very cheap Happy Shopper brand subsequently the milkshake was below par and I threw most of it in the bin- it wasn?t worth getting fat for. I think the management should consider using better quality ingredients

Had time to kill so went into Beans. Coffee was delicious as was sandwich I had. Served with a salad. Will be going back soon.

We have been customers here for over 12 years, and this is a really popular place to come and enjoy a coffee and some food.
Although it is always busy, you are generally able to get a seat.
The coffee is really tasty - and the bacon rolls are always very much appreciated!
The staff are always really pleasant, and have an easy going attitude.
Pop in for coffee - stay for the rolls, panini - and cakes!

Nice welcome and efficient service... But
Why oh why do coffee shops charge an extra 50p for oat milk? It costs the same as cow's milk in all the supermarkets I use.
And if the cost of beans on toast is £4.85 then it would be nice to have bread that is better than supermarket soft sliced. The beans were well sugared and the portion control would have made Scrooge happy.
For an extra 20p cost of food then experience would have been so much better. Surely the margins aren't that tight?

Nice to have a gluten free choice on cakes, coffee was good. Sat outside in the sun and people watched Oundle go by. Will be returning.

A very good coffee shop with excellent service and high-quality food. I especially appreciated the fresh salad that accompanied all our meals. However, I can?t give a full five stars due to two minor issues that could be improved.
Firstly, we purchased crisps with our meals, but it was not made clear beforehand that crisps were already included with what we ordered. This could have been communicated more effectively.
Secondly, the toasties my mother and I ordered were placed directly on top of our napkins, causing cheese to get all over them. While the staff were quick to provide replacements, this was an avoidable oversight, as it should have been obvious that the cheese would transfer onto the napkins.
Despite these small issues, we had a great experience, and I would still recommend this coffee shop.

Had a fruit scone and cappuccino. Asked for the scone to be warmed up which wasn?t frowned upon as in some places. Really helpful staff! Would definitely go back ?

Wonderful place to sit and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee and slice, staff were friendly and smiling, atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Stopped here for a quick cuppa to warm our frozen mitts. Food delicious, girls servicing very polite. Would highly recommend!
