Haven't used Wootton Opticians before but went there recently because they are in the EyeCare scheme. Brilliant service from all of the colleagues and the optician.Expert service and great banter. The perfect combination of customer service as far as I'm concerned. Would highly recommend.

What can I say, if I could give zero stars I would. I went for my appointment and went to open the door to find it locked. The receptionist inside looked at me and indicated she will be with me in minute. I stood outside looking like a Wally for 10 minutes while she spoke to whoever it was inside. Finally she opened the door and asked if I had a mask? Unfortunately I forgot my mask at home and asked if they had one they can give to me. The receptionist said she can sell me one for £2!!! At this point I knew this optician is clearly ripping people off and to steer well clear. Seriously £2 for a mask. I'll take my business elsewhere and ask people do the same. People stay away, this optician is a scam.

While a very friendly shop the actual product was / is poor.I had to return first set because the glasses as they weren?t any good. The reading part of the lens was so far down I had to put my head at a 45 degree angle for it to slightly magnify the print I was reading.Eyes retested.Another 2 week wait. The glasses were not made correctly (in my opinion) .The second set are slightly better but the so called best tinting doesn?t seem to darken as it should.The frames are very flimsy and the cost of over £600 I would have expected better quality all round.Very disappointed
